  3. Saturday Warrior madness - good times


    So due to the holiday I grabbed a weight workout on Saturday and it went as well as I could expect. I will say that I made the mistake of trying MT NanoVapor that I got as a sample... wow that is COMPLETE crap! Never, I repeat never, ever take this stuff. AS-GT makes this seems like child's play.

    PWO Supps:
    MT Nanocrap
    7 sprays Ghenerate
    20+ sprays NO Infuse - hellacious pumps today!

    Workout:
    Leg Extensions - 205x10, 265x8, 265x8 ds 215x8 ds 185x8

    Seated calf raises - 135x10x3 sets

    Decline Bench Press - 155x10, 225x7, 225x6 ds 175x8 ds 155x8

    Decline cable crosses - 10x3 sets

    DB Overhead tricep extensions - 60x10, 90x10, 100x8 PR!! ds 65x7 ds 50x7

    Kickbacks - 30x10x3 sets

    Seated Rows - 100x10, 140x8, 140x8 ds 110x8 ds 90x8 Wider grip then normal, not a fan of the handle I used.

    Rear delt cables - 10x3 sets

    Forgot what I did for shoulders...

    Preacher curls (machine) - 70x10, 95x8, 95x7 ds 70x8 ds 50x8

    That was it, 3 scoops of Postal then I was out.

    So far NO Infuse has worked extremely well and it has really chilled out the pain in my elbows, something I never would have expected! If you are on the fence for a pure pump/joint lubricating/anti-inflammatory topical this is the one to get.

    I will be back in the water myself once the semester starts. Stealing a few of your swims. Will add jumping out of the pool every other lap just to do some crunches and push-ups. Total kill interval training going to happen. Going to add this as part of a... dare I say the word... cut... shhhhhhhh more just a sexy recomp... yeah that's it... lol

    Sexy recomp... classic AG line right there! Sometimes cutting is fun, for a while that is, but a necessary evil to bring out all that hard work. I need to get a little less sloppy in my diet, this last week was not good for me. Also going to a 4 day split starting this week and stim free workouts, wish me luck.

    I have, just did about 6 or so weeks of it and have no complaints. Strength has maintained or slightly improved while I was doing a cut/recomp; what else can you ask for?

    Right now I am on a new four day split that I am going to outline for everyone right now.

    Mon - Legs
    Tues - Shoulders/Traps
    Wed - Off/Cardio
    Thurs - Back/bis
    Friday - Chest/Tris

    These will have 3-4 compound movements for each muscle group and the plan is to do sets as follows: 1 warm up, 3 work sets, 2 drops immediately after. Rep ranges will stay between 8-12 for everything though I am shooting for 12-15 on legs to stimulate some growth. I am also going on a stim free month with the exception of my morning coffee; so far no headaches or fatigue. Just started taking Ultima and I have to say I was surprised last night, I had amazing stamina, focus and power. It is not AS-GT in regards to aggression and desire to push more weight but all in all, as good or better than I expected so far.

    Monday night workout - Legs

    PWO Supps:
    1.5 scoops Ultima
    20 sprays NO Infuse on quads/calves/hammies
    7 sprays Ghenerate

    Workout:
    Hack/Front squat machine - 360x15, 450x15, 450x15, 500x15 ds 410x12, 360x12 Low back was pretty worked at the end so were glutes, love this machine!

    Leg Press - 360x15, 500x15, 500x15, 500x15, 450x10, 360x15 Pump and hammies were screaming at me so that is why I missed on the first drop. Took a few extra seconds and deep breaths, rocked out on 360.

    Leg Extensions - 175x12, 220x10, 220x10, 220x9, 190x8, 175x8 Quads were destroyed by now, walking funny by this point.

    Leg Curls - 100x10, 115x10, 115x10, 115x10 ds 90x10 ds 70x10 Pretty much ready to die at this point but one more to go!

    Seated calf raises - 135x15x3 sets (Donkey calf raises and leg press were occupied...)

    Finished it all off with 3 scoops of Postal and my legs were swole! It's always fun where there is not much definition just muscles that are blown up; man I missed heavy leg days like this!

    No Infuse - put sprays on my knees in addition to muscles, helped minimize any joint discomfort and keep things lubricated. Pumps were good but my legs don't get uber pumped ever, kind of annoying to be honest. Maybe next time I will give them an extra 10 sprays and see what happens .

    Digging this new split and my body is tolerating it extremely well. Here lies the workout.

    PWO Supps:
    1.5 scoops Ultima

    Workout:
    Arnold Press - 35x11, 45x10, 45x10, 45x9, 35x6, 20x10 First time ever doing, form needs work and man these are BRUTAL!

    BB Overhead Press - 115x10, 125x10, 125x9, 125x10 ds 95x8 ds 75x10

    Bent over rear delt pulley work - 35x10x4 sets (per arm)

    Smith Machine Shrugs - 135x10, 205x10, 225x10, 225x10, 205x10

    EZ bar upright rows - 65x10, 95x10, 95x10, 95x10, 65x10

    I talked to MrKleen and I am going to do 1 exercise per muscle group with drop sets instead of all of them. This will allow me to focus on exercises I am weak on and not overly fatigue myself. Doing this many drops is not fun and when you are on nothing less Ghenerate for recovery, it is just not enough to take that kind of abuse.

    Today is going to be back and bis, should be freaking fun to hit up a workout that focuses on biceps with NO Infuse, 5 sprays per bicep should be fun .

    Deadlifts - 135x5, 185x5, 225x3x5 sets First time these did not bother my back, weight is weak but I am taking my time with these to avoid any injury.

    Seated Rows - 110x10, 140x8, 140x8, 140x8 ds 110x8 ds 90x8

    Cable lat pulldowns - 10x3 sets for the burnout

    Preacher Curls - 70x10, 80x10, 80x10, 80x10 ds 60x10 ds 45x10

    Seated DB Curls - 25x8, 35x8x4 sets

    Great workout, tired as all get out by the end but happy with the volume and the successful deads even if the weight was light.

    Saturday - Chest/Tris

    PWO Supps:
    1.5 scoops Maximize V2
    25 sprays NO Infuse
    1 scoop Ultima - Intra drink

    Workout:
    DB Bench - 65x10, 90x8, 90x7, 90x8 ds 65x8 ds 50x7 Holy pumps batman!

    Incline Cable Press - 11x10, 14x10, 14x10, 14x10 (14 is plate number on machine)

    Peck Deck - 140x10, 140x10, 160x10, 160x10

    Dips - BWx10x4 sets

    Tri Rope pushdowns - 60x10x4 sets

    So the NO Infuse/Maximize combo was off the chain I have to say. Best pump in chest/tris I have had in a long time, up there with one of the best I had from Anadraulic Pump. Amazing energy on Saturday and was unstoppable even if my strength was not crazy. I think the Ultima as an intra drink put it over the top .

    Ah nothing like a leg workout to start out the week... The fact I could barely walk down the steps in the gym when I was done pretty much sums it up as to the intensity. That and my legs were so pumped they could only stay straight, being the knee was close to out of the question.

    30 sprays NO Infuse (Quads/Hammies/Calves/Knees)

    Workout:

    NO Infuse - First time I managed to get a legit pump in my legs, they just don't like to get pumped unless I front load a workout with P-Slin and about 100+ grams of CHO. The 30 sprays really had my quads tightening up and swolen, flexing was out of the question since all that was there was a overly swolen quad . Very impressed with NO Infuse, really adds a fun dynamic to the workout for me since pumps don't come easily to me and with NO Infuse I am getting them on the regular.

    crunches and pushups HAH! I just came up with your torture. Wheel of Death Burpee Style! Extend out from standing like regular wheel of death, pull wheel back to under chest lower to wheel push up then jump squat with wheel overhead. Repeat, swim, repeat fall over.....

    Excellent work Fin, doing really well in here. Love the review here in the last paragraph I would echo your sentiments completely. I forgot I started using the No Infuse after coming down from the roof last week on my elbow not for pump just to ease the discomfort a bit. I can't swear that was why but my elbow started improving during the week while roofing.

  19. Multi-day update - Shoulders/Traps and Back/Bis


    Sorry about the skip in the update guys, just forgot to put my last workout in so you get two this time. I have to say, I don't know if it is the Receptor, Ultima or both but I am tearing it up as of late. Add onto that workouts punctuated with massive pumps and you have a recipe for some fun times. That being said, let's get to the destruction!

    PWO Supps: both days
    1.5 scoops Ultima
    25 Sprays NO Infuse
    1 Receptor (30 mins prior)

    Workout Shoulders/Traps:
    Arnold Press - 30x8, 45x8, 45x10, 45x10, 45x10 ds 35x10

    Bent over low pulley side cables (rear delt focus) - 35x10x4 sets, per arm

    Machine Overhead Press - 110x10, 140x10, 145x10, 155x10, 165x8 PR I could not stop here, everything just kept going up easier so I just went for it and was really happy with the 165.

    Shrugs - 135x10 (weight per side), 135x10, 135x10, 135x10, 135x10 tried 180 per side and failed with my grip

    Upright Rows - 65x10, 95x10, 95x10, 95x10, 65x10

    Workout Back/Bis:
    Deadlifts - 135x5, 185x5, 235x3, 235x3, 285x1 PR, 305x1 PR! 185x5 Forearms are shot right now but so happy with that 305. I suck at deads compared to many of you but taht is only my SECOND successful dead workout so I am pretty happy to hit 300+, even if just for 1.

    Pull Ups - BWx10x3 sets, BWx6 Grip was shot on last set

    Bent over BB Rows - 135x8, 165x8, 165x8, 165x8 Back was SMOKED!

    Seated Rows - 110x10, 140x8, 140x8, 140x8 ds 110x8 ds 90x8 Time to go up to 150, getting a little too easy even after all that.

    Incline DB Curls - 25x10, 35x10, 35x10, 35x10, 35x10

    My left thumb joint was really hurting by this point, machine shoulder press irritated it the day before, so I called it to avoid any further injury. Biceps are not a huge priority for me so I will deal with the missed exercises.

    NO Infuse - Great pumps on both workouts though I am noticing that for me to get the benefit I have to go to 25+ sprays. Its cool though, I seem to have only used like 1/3 of my bottle so I have NO complaints.

I am going to trim up my body hair is at a ridiculous length of close to an inch long and I know it is getting in the way of it all getting on the skin on my chest.

    Do you just put it on or do you rub it in a little? I find I get better results rubbing it in a little after spraying.

    There is some rubbing in going on and I have very little body hair with the exception being legs so that is not an issue for me. I am sure that if I exfoliate that may help with absorption... may have to try that tomorrow morning and see if I notice a difference when I do my chest workout.

    I found that rubbing a little helps as well as getting rid of the hair. I had some hair when i first stated NO Infuse, and it took a lot longer to absorb/dry.

    NO Infuse - great pump going on in chest and tris, this is getting to be a regular occurrence with NO Infuse. Also, it continues to help my joints from hurting during lifts, a welcome change.

    I have done 110 before, think Pinker times if you get my drift, but with no spotter I am working my way up safely so I don't wreck my shoulders. This week I am going for the 100s, its been enough time that they need to get back into play.

Not happy about this but my body won't mind the chance to recover/grow I am sure.
