Wrasslin's 'Go Harder Than Kimbo Slice' Track Season log (BBS Sponsored)

Hey guys, I know I said I was going to start a new log within a few weeks after my last log (January I believe?), but the products from BBS havn't come in so oh well I guess :dunno: BUT, right now I'm currently centering my workouts around strength training, but I also throw in a little bodybuilder reps for my auxileries (Arms/Shoulders/Forearms/Calfs). I will be listing my routine below of course lol. As of right now my goal is to get as strong as possible in my track pre-season training (I don't believe I've ever done powerlifting type workouts), and also trim up a bit (actually drop down to 140-145 by track because that would be my idea 100m weight), but it all depends on where my body takes me as I WILL NOT sacrifice my hard earned muscle!
In the past years I've always been the biggest kid in my highschool by far, but the only thing I had on people was out repping them, I had the 'all show, no go' going on (in my mind anyways). And well pretty much, I got sick of it ever since my incident earlier this year which some of the detail about that is in my last log...But the past say, 2-3 weeks I've been going balls to the wall on getting my strength up. So far I have blown away all my old records (most anyways, my wrist has finally fully healed around the time I started this type of lifting).


The Diet:
Monday-Mid Saturday = 250g protein/~10g carbs/25-50g fats (progessively going up)
Mid Saturday-Sunday = Seafood diet, essentially carb load but I eat whatever I see or want (geared towards healthy carbs), also try to keep fat low

The Training:
Monday- Squat/Bench/Chest Auxileries (Low heavy reps for squat/bench)
Tuesday- Biceps/Triceps/Forearms/Calfs
Wedsday- Deadlift/Back (Low heavy reps for deadlift)
Thursday- Shoulders/Traps/Forearms
Friday- Squat/Bench/Leg Auxileries (Medium rep range for squat/bench)
Saturday- Deadlift (Medium rep range)
Sunday- OFF

Cardio- Since I have no access to cardio equipment and sprints/running/bleachers etc. wouldn't workout to well in a foot of snow I will be doing 5 minutes of jump rope after each workout (Twice a day workouts), also Mon/Wed/Fri will be incorporating ab excercises such as my modified versions of sit ups/crunches/leg raises. So, unless I make it to a gym during the week this will be my cardio until the snow clears.

The Supplements:
Digestive Enzymes
Vit D
Vit C
Whey protein (Only when needed)
Chromium Pic
ALA
Multi
Glutamine (10g before bed)
AAKG (5g pre-workout)
B-A (5g pre-workout)
Lipolyze

The Stats-
Age- 17
Height- 5'4 and a half (had to throw that in there to make myself feel better lol)
Weight- ~150
Bench- 215
Squat- 315
Deadlift- 335

Oh, and the supplement that I'm going to be watching is the Lipolyze.

Late Update

Ok well first of all, as of Monday bench is back up to 225 again!
Tuesday nothing new, and today was horrible! Today was deadlift day, and I was going to go for 345 but my lower back had other plans I guess.....I got to 315 where last week I did 5 times easy, I couldn't do it more than once today because my back was in so much pain, so I lowered down to 225 and couldn't even pick it up!

So good thing my chiropractor appointment is Friday....
Also I forgot to add, this will be a semi-log which I will only be updating when something exciting happens, and also post my weight every Saturday before my carb up, and Monday afterwords.

Any comments/ideas are welcome!

Well just found out track starts in about a week....On my birthday.
Also I quit smoking and pretty much I want to smash everything in site haha.....

Update Week 2

Today was bench day again, and my bench is now up to 235, BARELY missed 240! I was deeply upset about missing the 240 but 235 is good, guess my wrist is fully better because I've never went over 225 before.

Bad news, my back is fcked up, last week with deadlifts it made me want to crawl in a corner, same today. I was only doing my easy weight for squats with 275 and on my 5th rep it felt like my spine squirmed! That pretty much crippled me for the day, I went to go do another set and did 1 rep and called it quits because it hurt so much....
Good news, going to see my chiropractor again Wedsday before my workout!


Oh, and an update on the Lipolyze.
I figured out why it says to take with food....I've been taking it on an empty stomach every morning last week and immedietly after taking it until I got some food in me I'd have the most painful 'burn' in my stomach immagineable. So, lesson learned (take with food!)

Mine doesn't have that, he has this thing called the spinalator though. Sounds pretty metal, and it tractions your spine nicely.

damn, sounds scary lol. been going to same chiro for almost 5 yrs now, insurance pays for weekly visits. i hardly ever miss a week.

I can barely bend over to put my shoes on or pick something out without this pain in my lower back.
Makes me wish I never 'messed' with Vicodin or I'd get some because practices are going to suck next week.....

Thank you bro, and yes I am haha, got it through the ISSA, I just have to get my CPR done and I can start training people.
My first job is that my school wants me to make our lifting programs for all the sports, and I'm also taking a course soon to be a sports strength and conditioning specialist.

Was badASS! To start off my day there right after I got my ticket my mom tells me to turn around and it turns out Sylvester Stallone was walking through and he stopped to shake my hand! Then also met/talked to/autograph with Forrest Griffin, Ronnie Coleman, Lou Ferrigino, Brandon Curry, Dennis Wolf, Evan Centopani and my 'girlfriend' (lol) Jennifer Nicole Lee.

So.....Best birthday present ever!

New Supps, ya digg???? lol

Ok, forget to mention yesterday at the Arnold I picked up my all time faverite supp Kre-Alkalyn, EFX was selling them there for $10 so that's a steal and I got one.
Also, tonight I am making an order for some Cordygen-5 which I have been dying to try, and Animal Cuts (decided it was time to try a new stimulant compared to using ones I've tried before =D)

Right now I'm dying here staring at my Kre-Alk......

Update

First track practice today....went good besides when I had to go running between the calf pumps and shin splints I wanted to lay down and cry lol seriously, it felt like my skin was ripping and the muscle and bone was going to tear right through! Haha.

Any recommendations for the calf pumps???

Magnesium is my #1 recommendation for cramps and muscle pumps. I love the stuff. A little powdered Mag. Citrate + Xtend after a run = money. No cramps, no pumps.

I suppose you could try the taurine.

As for the magnesium, I use one called Calm from Natural Vitality. Mix the raspberry lemon flavor in with watermelon Xtend, tastes like a fruity soda. Almost like you're cheating on a diet.

I like the magnesium because it's one of the main minerals responsible for releasing muscle contractions (read pumps/cramps,) and it's yet to disappoint.

So....Calfs lasted me a little better today, only take a break during our run twice....Still embarrassing as fck....
But not NEAR embarassing as the weights I was lifting today. I could barely bench 205 after our run and warm ups, gonna bump the cals up ALOT but I also need to drop 30lbs so I'm not sure how this is going to work......Might see me try mega-dosing aminos here in a bit!

Ok, birthday party was BEAST this weekend!

But for the real update..... I officially LOVE Cordygen!!! Took it about an hour before practice today, warm up run was nothing, I was blowing everyone away, workout didn't tire me at all and my throws improved today also it was pretty great!
Also the Animal Cuts give the perfect amount of energy I need, it's not an in-your-face energy, no jitters, it's just like it's there when you need to have it.

Record,
Ok, on incline I've never got over 165 on and today I got 205 for 3 reps like it was nothing! That made me super stoked.

DAMN sprinting practices suck lol.
First day of working with the sprinters (I've been working with the throwers until now), and I am deffnitly going to be sore tomorrow haha I love it.

First meet is this Saturday....All I'm going to do for this meet is probably shot-put, if no updates this week there will be after my meet so stay tuned!

Update

First track meet was today, and I did horrible....It was a relay meet and I did shot put which I threw the farthest on my team but we lost, then pole vault which my coach set me to close to the pit and wouldn't let me set the standards how I wanted them until my last jump which I barely missed (maybe would've made it if I did that all 3 times...), then the sprint medly and 4x1 we lost, hand offs were horrible and everyone had spikes and I didn't so I did just ok and it SUCKED.

Another meet Tuesday....Stay tuned.

Thank you bro, that meet made me upset lol.

But those supplements from Better Body Sports finally came, (Carnivore and BCAA's) I've used them but just havn't had time to review them yet because of school/track and all of that.

Update

Had my 2nd track meet yesterday and didn't do all that bad!!
I got 3rd in polevault (leg was messed up from the 100m dash, groin hurt and it messed up my steps), then the 100m dash I got around 5th place (not bad for first dash since middle school....and first time ever using blocks and spike shoes), then they decided to put me as a sub in the 4x1 and we DOMINATED, I got the baton at about 10m ahead of the guy and by the time I passed it to our anchor guy I was about 20m ahead.
