Hello everyone, this will be my very first PH cycle and i decided to start with Hemogen 50 (Halodrol 50 clone) mainly because i've done a lot of reading and i only hear good comments about it, it's pretty mild and safe for a first PH cycle. It's not as strong as superdrol but i will still need to do a PCT after my cycle. I haven't seen many threads about Hemogen 50 so im hoping it works as good as Halodrol 50 did for most people.

Hemogen 50 : 50 mg of 4-chloro-17a-methyl-androst-1, 4-diene-3-17b-diol
Halodrol 50 : 50 mg of 4-chloro-17a-methyl-androst-1, 4-diene-3-17b-diol

I am 24 years old, i cut down from 180 lbs at 16% bf to 158 lbs at 12% bf. My goal is to put on at least 10-15 pounds of lean mass and keep them even after PCT. My first day of the PH cycle will be Monday, February 2, 2009. It will be a total of 8 weeks = 4 weeks PH/ 4 weeks PCT.

DIET:

CARBS - 200g/day
PROTEIN - 250g-300g/day
FATS - 80g-120g/day

Carbs - Brown Rice, Weath bread, OJ, Oatmeal, Bananas
Protein - Chicken, Lean Meat, Protein Shakes, Fish, Eggs, Milk
Fats - Peanuts, and Whatever fats my carb/protein foods have.

Pre-Cycle Supps (3 weeks before cycle):

Milk Thistle(80% silymarin = 160mg) - 600mg/day
Hawthorne(2% Vitexin = 3mg) - 300mg/day
MSM - 1500mg/day
Glucosamine - 1500mg/day
Saw Palmetto(85% fatt acids = 136mg / 0.2% Sterols = 0.32mg) - 320mg/day
Fish Oil "Omega 3" (Eicosapentaenoic Acid = 180mg / Docosahexaenoic Acid = 120mg) - 900mg/day
Multivatimin and imune system support = 24/7 by RBC Life Sciences = 8 pills/day

Cycle:

Hemogen 50 - 1 pill (50mg)/day for 30 days
{I will be using all my Pre-Cycle Supps throughout my cycle}

My PCT consists of three Anabolic Xtreme products, i have LIQUINOLVA(SERM) just in case things turn ugly.

PCT:

Advanced PCT - 6-bromo for recovery and Test boosting
Mass FX - Natural testosterone booster
Lean FX - Cortisol blocker
{I will be using all my Pre-Cycle Supps throughout my PCT}

Mass FX 2 in the morning, 2 pre-workout or mid afternoon
aPCT 1 cap in the morning, 1 mid afternoon, 1 before bed
Lean FX 1 in the morning, 1 postworkout,or mid afternoon and 1 in the evening

Mass FX - 4/4/4/4
aPCT ---- 3/3/3/3
Lean FX - 3/3/3/3

Im not too worried about Gyno but i will keep my LiquiNolva in hand just in case. I will be posting Pictures every week throughout the 8 weeks.

DAY 3

Thanks for your support guys, i've started my third day on hemogen 50. The first couple of days seem pretty normal. I had the same energy as if i took Superpump 250 before workout. I take 1 pill of hemogen about 4 hours before my workout, mainly because it has a lifetime of 14-16 hours.

I've had some problems at work which made me very irritable but i've been able to control it, because i know since this stuff raises your testosterone levels it may make you really mad a lot faster. But, i try to keep that in mind to keep my self in check.

Being pissed off helped on my workout though, i upped the volume on all my sets by 20% and had enough energy to finish them as usual. It's only been 3 days so i haven't seen any significant strenght gain or size gain yet. I've also heard that this stuff kicks in at about week 2-3, so, i'm excited to see some gains soon. No sides so far, whatsoever, although my balls have been kind of itchy for the last couple of days, it may not have anything to do with the PH, but we'll see. I hope it stops soon, it's annoying having to scratch your balls when you're working customer service,lol.

I also added fish oil and saw palmetto to my support supps. I know they're a lot, but safety is my main concern. I just got my inernet disconnected at home, but i should have it up and running by monday. I can log in on wednesday and Thursday this week from work. Meanwhile, I'll keep you guys updated as much as i can. I'm receiving my NOlVADEX (tamoxifen citrate) today, so that's a stress reliever. Thanks for the support fellows.

Thank you bro, Yeah, i researched a lot about PCT before i made my final decition, and concluded on aPCT, Mass FX, and Lean FX as my best bet for OTC-PCT, mainly because i've read people continued making gains during PCT with these products. I do have some LiquiNolva in hand just in case, I really dont wanna go shopping for bras anytime soon,lol.

6th Day

Today was a rest day, and i'm feeling pretty good. So far no size or strenght gains yet, (makes me wonder if this stuff even works?). My temper has gotten a lot worse, i get mad very easily, but i had a bad temper to begin with. Nothing new to report.

Day 7

Today was my first day of workout of week 2, worked my chest and Tris. I felt great! I was actually stronger and upped the volume again by 20% on my chest, and 33% on my triceps. So far there still no gain in size or weight, but strenght is going up. Can't wait for week 3 to start swelling up.

I just bought a bottle of H-drol. It's chemically identical to halodrol only it's 25mg per pill. If 50mg recommended to stay at throughout the cycle? I've heard some people say to move up to 75 after week 2. Also what do you think of Novedex XT for PCT?

Some people up the dosage to 75mg to see better results, but IMHO from what i've read, it only makes the sides worse, and also i think it would only make a difference for you if you're over 200 lbs, which i think you are, so it may work for you. Im light weight, so im sticking with 50 mg, specially because this is my very first cycle and i don't want to over do it.

Novedex xt is an ATD, i think it can be a good part of your PCT, but i wouldn't run it alone. I read of a guy getting slight gyno from a rebound after using only novedex xt for PCT after Halodrol 50. But then again, everyone's body reacts different to Ph's and Steroids. You need a good test booster, cortisol blocker and estrogen blocker.

Day 8

Measurements still the same on all sides, and weight still stuck at 158. Had a great workout. I worked my back, shoulders, and biceps today, and i was able to do the same amount of reps as before with about 30% higher in volume(it leveled the amount raised on all body parts).

Still no sides at all, and temper is getting better each day. I also upped my carb intake, hopefully it'll make a difference. I still can't wait to the so called 3 week quick mass gain period.

I have a friend who said he did a cycle about a year ago and that PCT is unnecessary for Halodrol. Other people claim they've gotten gyno from not using the right PCT. Anyway if I did decide to use Nolvadex, how long and what dosing would anyone recommend?

I have it in hand just in case, but i don't plan on using it unless i really have to. I've also read in articles and medical studies that 20mg/day has the same effect as 40mg/day. So if i end up using it, I'll only run 25mg/day for 2-3 weeks.

Gained 1 pound today, YAY! scale was at 159 this morning and bf% was still at 12.4%. But my measurements are still the same everywhere. We have to remember i upped my carbohydrates intake to about 250g/day.

Today was legs day(hate it), I was pretty tired from work, we've been busier than usual, so my workout wasn't as hard as usual. I still managed to get a good sweat on though.

DAY 10

Well, disapointment has struck! My weight is back down to 158 lbs. I'm feeling a little down and morale is dropping. Does anyone know if this stuff is really supose to start kicking in on week 3? or should it start showing results already?, I know strength is definetely up, But no visible results yet. I've actually tought of just stopping the cycle because i feel it's not doing anything for me, but i guess we'll see. Not a lot of people have used HEMOGEN 50, so i hope i can give it a good review by the end of the cycle.

Anyways, Today i worked my chest and triceps, Work has been hectic lately so i couldn't workout as hard as i wanted to, but i did get pretty tired by the time i was done. Vascularity is definetely a lot more visible while i workout now, and i also get tingly sensations on my muscles after some sets.(hope it's a good thing)

Report after first 10 days.

Same measurements i had the first day. Body weight and bodyfat % are still the same. Nothing new.

Please comment guys!!! even if you just say "KEEP GOING MAN", It keeps me motivated! Thanks.

You could try uping the dosage a bit. My friend is about your size and he did 50mg week one and 100mg weeks two-five. He didn't use a SERM and had no physical problems post cycle, he was just a little extra emotional. Anyway keep going and good luck!

DAY 11

Well, today the scale was at 159.2, and the bodyfat scale measured me at 12.1, I'm not going to get too excited, but i know something is up, i will keep a close look on my weight and bodyfat %.

Today was shoulders, back, and biceps, and workout was pretty intense. I didn't get tired as quick but i did sweat a lot more, so i pushed my self with a couple of new excercises. So far things are looking up. Wish me luck!

I only got one bottle of 30 day supply, so if i upped the dosage then the cycle will cut shorter than 30 days. I rather play this one by the books and try different methods on my next cycle. Thanks for the advice jsheely, Im glad you're still around. Good luck on your cycle man, and keep me updated.

Day 12

Weight is at 159.2 lbs, and bf% is at 11.5(dropping a little too fast) Im thinking i should start eating a lot more to put on more mass, but at least i can finally see the numbers moving around.

Today was a very busy day at work, i barely got 2 meals the whole day, but i managed to get my 3 shakes still, I just hope it won't make me lose weight already. Other than that, today and tomorrow are rest days.

Libido does feel a little low, usually i wanna screw everything that moves, and the wifey is wondering why i haven't been interested for the past week. Even porn doesn't interest me right now. Or maybe im just tired from being so busy at work and using all my left over energy with the weights, other than that, everything else seems well. Temper is alot better now, I was a real A-hole last week, but i also think it has a lot to do with your mind. I can control myself a lot better now, and can shut my self up when i know i need to.

Strenght is still noticeably up, there's this prop at work i could never push down, i had to claim on top of it and push down with my body weight, now days i can push it down with my right hand alone, very gratifying.

No sides to speak of, no atrophy, acne, aches, or gyno like symptoms, I still can't wait for this coming week when i should start seeing better results. I will post new pictures soon.

Today was an easy day, i ate a lot, but i did miss my last dose of support supps. The scale was at 158.8, and my body fat is still at 11.5.

About a week into the cycle i noticed an increase in strenght, i used bigger weights and didn't struggle with it as much as i did the week before. Good luck man, hopefully you'll get results faster than what i'm getting.

DAY 14

Today was Back and Biceps day, Workout wasn't as intense as i wished, we were very busy at work and i was really tired by the time i got home. I almost didn't workout, but i pushed my self to get some good pumps in.

Weight dropped to 58.8 and bodyfat is stuck at 11.5.

No sides to speak of so far, but my right niple gets kinda itchy everyonce in a while, I had a cut on it about a week ago from shaving, and it itched while it was healing, so that may just be it, but then again i never know, I got my nolva on the shelf ready just in case. But there's no pufiness or swelling or tenderness on it, unless it's cold then they get hard and a little tender.

So far everything seems ok, Although, I am looking a little leaner, not enough to notice though.

I think gyno is more common post cycle from halodrol. Yes, you take the nolva with some juice, i heard it tastes horrible, but then again most people are sissies when it comes to tasting stuff, they think superpump is real bad, when in fact is just fine.

DAY 16

Weight today was at 158.6 and bf was at 12.0% weird huh?, anyways, it's probably because i haven't been able to eat as much as i'm used to because i've been so busy lately, but today i stuffed my face as much as i could. I eat about a pound of skinless chicken everyday, plus rice, pasta, protein shakes, and other healthy foods.

I've been having some pain in my left shoulder for the past few days, i didn't bother to mention it because i tought i was just sore, but the pain hasn't gone away, and it really bothers me on my workouts, Im thinking on upping my dosage of MCM and Glucosamine, or get a better Joint support supp.

No sides to speak of, I stopped obsessing about my nipples and the itching went away. No lumps, inflamation or tenderness.

This is the third week, so i hope i can see something to make me believe this stuff works, or this will probably be the first and last time i try any PH. So far it's thumbs down for results.

DAY 17

I didn't have a chance to check my weight today because i was in a hurry to get to work, but at least i managed to get my diet back on track for the last couple of days. I'm eating 5 times a day plus 3 protein shakes.

Today i worked my back and my biceps. I had a lot of energy since i've been eating enough now, and i worked my self out!. I ended up on the floor after my last sets and figured i've had enough.

I should be able to put on some pounds since i got my diet back in check, But i hope i can put on mainly mass and not much fat, since i have to consume higher amounts of carbohydrates. I'll update you all on my weight and body fat tomorrow, lets hope to see some new numbers.

The pain in my left shoulder is still there, i got my hands in a month supply of TRIFLEX, which is supose to be a pretty good joint care supp., so hopefully the pain will subside. It really gets in the way of intense workouts and keeps me from finishing my sets because it gets too painful.

I started getting headaches during the first two weeks of my precycle phase, i was taking milk thistle and hawthorne for 3 weeks before i started the acutal PH cycle, but the headaches went away after the second week. I didn't really have any effects when i started the PH.

Give it a few days though, they usually go away, and also remember that your mind will play games with you, specially if this is your first cycle ever. It did on me with my nipples.

Today's diet was great, i'm eating like a freaking pig, i feel full all day, but keep stuffing my face in, hopefully that'll put some weight on and the PH will help on keeping bf% low and gaining mass quicker.

Weight this morning was back at 158.8, but i didn't check my bf still, ill post it up tomorrow for sure though.

Workout today was on my chest, shoulders and triceps, real good pumps, an intense workout afterall. I've also been using a menthol product on my left shoulder for my joint pain, and it's been helping while i workout, but the pain is still there and i can feel it everyonce in a while. Couple of weeks left, hopefully we'll see some change soon.

I'm still eating as much as i can, and hope to keep putting on pounds as the days go by. Today was a rest day, so no iron for me today.

Morale is high!

DAY 20,21,22

Sorry about not posting lately, day 20 i started the day weighting back down at 158.0 and i was pissed, i didn't even check my bodyfat %, and felt annoyed to even think about working out. I almost flushed the rest of the pills down the toilet and started thinking on starting my PCT early and finish all of this already. But i rather went out and hung out to keep my mind occupied.

Day 21, I was really tired and stressed from work and stuff, i didn't even work out.

Day 22, I pushed my self to workout today, I got home pretty late from work, so i only had time to excersice my back, but i'll catch up on it as the week goes by.

Haven't checked my weight or bodyfat ever since. I'll start again tomorrow. I hope i'll last.

Day 23 was ok, somehow i think libido is coming back, or the PH is finally kicking in, weight was at 158.8 again. Worked my chest only today, but worked it pretty hard.

I'm thinking on upping the dosage to 75mg on the last 4 days and cut my cycle short by 2 days, and start PCT right after. Should i do it? will it make a difference? or, will it just make sides appear easier?

Dude order another bottle. Or get the CEL stuff, its in 25mg pills. Do 2 more weeks at 75mg, making it 6 weeks in total. I've ready plenty of forums of people using it for six weeks using 50mg for only week 1 and then 75 for the rest, sometimes even up to 100mg for the last week. I think 75 would be fine for you, but I think even more importantly is the time duration. I'm no expert, I hope some more experienced users will chime in on this one.

You think it'll be fine even tho i'm way under 200 pounds? I'm just concerned about the sides, even though i haven't experienced any(yet). But i'm seriously thinking about it, hopefully more people will comment on this and shine some light to the subject.

I don't think upping the dosage to 75mg would kill you, but I do think that 6 weeks would be much better than 4. Also, don't be so concerned with weight, just focus on getting stronger. I don't know what your training schedule is like, but it might be helpful if you would post it. You may be overtraining, doing too much in one day, or have been doing the same thing for too long.

Morning Weight Check

Sup people, my weight this morning was 158.2 and my bodyfat was 11.5%, I check them about 3 times back to back, to make sure the reading is the same everytime. I think i'm losing fat while building muscle, that's why i wont gain weight but i keep droping bf% while keeping the same weight. Hope that made sense.

Yeah, i've read some of those threads where people run their cycle for longer periods of time with better results, and it sounds very convincing. But, i think i'm going to stick with the recommended dosage this time, and try a stronger PH on my next cycle. I'm thinking on running a 3-4 week cycle of DBOL in a few months, but i'm still debating on it. Thanks for you input and help bro.

Dianabol is pretty intense, but you will certainly get bigger. Also Turanibol is a good alternative and has less sides than DBol

Yeah, i think a lot of people say HALODROL 50 is almost the same as Oral Turinabol, but i wonder if im going to get minimal effects with it as i did with the HEMOGEN 50. Anyway, i'm still looking for a stronger and safer product for my next cycle.

Workout was pretty good today, i worked my triceps and biceps, ended up pretty tired. I'm starting a cold and i hope it doesn't get too bad, i'm really looking forward for my AX PCT. Everything else is well, although i haven't been able to eat as much in the last couple of days, but i think my body is doing ok, i'll add some pics soon.

Consistency is the key. If you don’t get the gains and BF you were wanting…don’t give up. Still workout and keep working your legs. Squats, straight leg dead lifts, lunches, etc. This is my first post on any site and am posting now because I am excited about your passion. I will follow your success. What is PST?

Both days were rest days and my body weight droped to 57.4 and bodyfat is at 11.4%, I think today was my last day of my cycle, I really want to start my PCT already, I'm hoping i experience better gains on it. I'm still debating on it, but i'm really leaning on cutting my cycle short.

Thanks KennMack, i apreciate your support. PCT is Post Cycle Therapy, you need to take products to get your body back to normal after running a cycle of prohormones or steroids. The main point of PCT is to raise your natural testosterone levels to keep the gains you've made, while watching and keeping your cortisol and estrogen levels low. Im using all Anabolic Xtreme products for my PCT, I'm very excited about it.

Today i skiped my workout, and also called it my last day on HEMOGEN 50. Tomorrow i will be starting my PCT and will be pushing my self pretty hard and hope to see better results while on it.

Hemogen 50 is a pretty good PH for gaining dry mass, but not as much as most people report. I think when people gain about 15 pounds from this cycle is mainly from an increase in their calorie intake, and i'm talking about a very high amount of food, so i really doubt that all 15 pounds are lean dry mass, this PH is not strong enough to put on that many pounds unless it's taken at high dosages for a longer cycle than just 30 days; But it also increases the chances of sides effects showing up.

I did gain some strenght and droped about 1% bf, but didn't really experience any weight gain, which means i did put on LBM. I do look a little leaner and my veins pop out more than they used to. Also at around half way through week 2 i started experiencing a real bad pain in my left shoulder from my joints and had to get a better joint and bone support supplement (TRIFLEX), and it helped out a lot.

Overall, this is an ok product to make very minimal gains, but noticeable strenght gains are defintetely part of it's job. I will not run this cycle again as i did not experience what i expected and was very bummed when the 3rd week came in and the so called mass gaining didn't happen.
