Joeflex73 takes on NOS-FX (AX Sponsored, Alpha test)
NOS-FX is a new pump product being worked on by Anabolic Xtreme. It is currently in capsule form. Dosing for workouts for guys over 200lbs like myself, is 6 capsules. A libido dose to be taken before sex is 8 capsules, and will also be tested.
So let's get down to business...about me .....right now
6'4 265 bf%, guessing high teens.
Diet: Cut, Average Macro breakdown (40/45/15) F/P/C, 2600 Calories/day
Stimulant X, 2 when I wake up
This is the least supplements that I've been on in a while!
Previous pump product experience: N.O. Xplode, NaNo Vapor, Cold Fusion, SuperPump 250, White Flood. Each got at least a 1 jug run, or enough samples in a row to get a feel (think I had 25 packets of SP250 from orders and last years AC).
Training Protocol:4-5 days a week with 3-5 cardio sessions added in. Rep ranges anywhere from 4-5 to 30+ depending on the bodypart.
Today, I dosed about 1hr. 40 mins after a meal and 40 mins before I sat into the Leg Press. I took 6 capsules with 20 oz. of water. I also made sure to bring a water bottle with me, and made sure I finished it during the course of the workout.
Leg Press:360x25, 540x20, 720x15, 900x10
+1 on the 900, didn't notice anything highly out of the ordinary on this exercise
Leg Extensions (single):175x20, 200x15, 250x8 both x25, 250x8 both x27
Now we're getting somewhere! The final 2 sets especially got me going.
Hammer Strength Leg Curls:45x40, 90x15, 115x12, 140x9
Hammies got going a bit. By this time it was definitely quite a feeling to walk.
Leg Press Calf Extensions:360, 4sets: 50, 60, 60, 75
Calves tightened and burned, but nothing noticeable on them.
The high rep exercise were where I could tell a difference from baseline. I haven't used a pump product regularly since last spring. Very intriguing start.
Missed a shot at the libido dose. Tuesday might be a good opportunity.

Today I did back. My dose was taken with caffeine this time. I took 2 Stim X and 6 capsules with 24oz. of water approximately 45 minutes before my 1st set of back. During the workout, I also drank another 1 liter of water overall.
Dumbbell Rows:60's x20, 100's x20, 120's x18, 120's x18
+3 on the 120's. Wanted to Barbell Rows, Smith was taken and some knucklehead was doing curls in the squat rack.....
Wide Grip Front Pulldowns:112.5x10 raise 125x10 raise 137.5 x10, 150x12, 175x10, 200x8
Had a nice back pump by now, but my rep range was a bit higher than normal.
Stiff Arm Pulldowns:110x20, 140x15, 170x12, 125x15 (squeeze)
Standing Pulley Rows:125x15, 125x15, 100x15 (squeeze)
Back work was good. I liked it more with caffeine, I felt pretty nice and angry. I made sure because of it to take in more water than usual. This was on a completely empty stomach, as I hadn't eaten all day before going in. I have a good back pump going in my lats, but that's usually not a problem area for me. atm, I'm not sure if it's the slightly higher reps or if it's the product. I think it's a little of both, because I do do some high rep sets regardless of my training goal.

Took a libido dose this evening. Libido dose is 8 capsules (taken an hour before). Didn't note anything out of the ordinary from it. I'll probably try it 1 more time like this.

Notables: Back is quite sore today. Yesterday's volume and weight was really in a normal range, but I am more sore than usual.
Today was chest day. I did a similar work to last week to get a true feeling of the compound. I dosed this time farther out, about 2 1/2 hours before I touched a weight (man was I starving after!!)

Incline Flies:50's x15, 70's x8, 80's x6, 80's x5
Cable Crossovers:80's x15, 95's x13, 65's x15 (squeeze)
Dumbbell Underhand Crossovers:25's x15, 30's x12, 35's x10 drop 20's x8
Pump would be a bit more than normal I'd say. The product is definitely more noticeable at the higher rep ranges. My focus seems a bit sharper than it had been, overall.

Already a nice good pump going.

V-Bar Cable Curls:110x20, 140x10, 140x12
Today, I really was able to feel this compound. I took it about an hour and 15 min. before I got to the gym. Final sets, the pumps were pretty extreme. I had some veins popping I hadn't seen since the end of my cut last summer (when I was 230). So far, on high reps, I am liking this.

2 workouts to report, since the website was down when I last came here the other night.
As an experiment, when I went in later this evening (2/3) to do cardio I took purple wraath with me to get a comparison. But first...
Dose taken on an empty stomach 45 minutes before my workout.
Shoulders and Tri's
Machine Shoulder Press:150x20, 180x15, 230x10, 250x8
Palms in Dumbbell Press:35's x20, 45's x12, 55's x6, 60's x5
Side Lateral Raises:30's x10 drop 20's x10 drop 12's x12, 30's x10 drop 20's x10 drop 12's x11, 35's x10 drop 25's x10 drop 15's x12 drop 8's x17
Shoulder pumps? wtf I never get those. The burnout definitely had it going though.
Dumbbell Extensions:50x30, 80x15
Dumbbell Kickbacks:50's x15, 50's x15, 60's x10
One arm Dumbbell Extensions:25's x15, 30's x12, 35'x 10
Very happy with the overall workout. No PR's, but good numbers nonetheless. Drank like a fish, 2 24oz. cups while I was there.
Came back 8 hours later for cardio and a little experimentation.
30 mins Eliptical:457 Cals
As far as endurance goes, it felt pretty close. But one thing to remember is my comparisons so far were immediately following a workout, so of course I was able to keep my BPM down and thus go a little harder. Between the 2 I found the endurance to be pretty close. 1 thing I did like more about NOS-fx is my face doesn't tingle like on PW
Did back last night (2/4). Passed out last night before I put it on here.
I didn't dose last night. I wanted to get a base line feel again.
Dumbbell Rows:80x20, 120x12, 120x15, 120x20 PR
Don't think I warmed up quite enough....still the 120's for 20 is pretty damn good.
Stiff Arm Pulldowns:140x15, 170x12, 200x8, 200x8
Standing Reverse Flies:45's x15, 55's x12, 35's x20, 35's x20
Solid overall. The gym was packed so, again, I couldn't necessarily get in the movements I wanted.
Comparisons, I usually get a good pump in my lats, and today was no different. It wasn't quite as good as back day the other day and my endurance wasn't quite as good either. I was spent after 12 sets, whereas I felt at 15 sets I could maybe have gone on. Endurance gets pretty good on this stuff. Pump, at this time for me has been dependent on bodypart and rep range.
Legs sometime today.

Kinda died out on calf extensions, but I was pretty spent by then. I consider the 950 a PR even though I've done the 1,000 for a few reps before, but not a set of 6.
Same feelings today as I've had lately (more endurance, above average pump). The only thing I noticed is I didnt feel as dry, wasnt drinking as much as usual.

Just a crap workout. Nothing to do with the product, got to the 90's and didn't do near as well as I should and was kinda in a funk for the rest of the workout and just kinda went through the motions. Been quite a while since I had a workout like this, but it happens sometimes. I'll rebound with today's workout for sure.

Today, Bi's and cardio
I've been hitting bi's on their own for the last 3 weeks or so, why? Because I want the gd things to grow!! Having arms my size with my back/shoulder/chest size is kinda infuriating lol.
So onto today:
Standing Alternating Curl:30's x18, 40's x12, 50's x9
Went stricter on form than I usually do.
Spider Curls: 25's x15, 30's x10, 35's x6
Love these, get a long stretch going.
Standing Concentration Curls:30's x15, 40's x12, 25's x13 (slow, squeeze)
30 mins Eliptical: 454 Cals
By the time I got halfway through the Spider's, my arms were full bigtime. Had a top notch pump tonight, one of the better ones ever. With high reps this stuff is really shining. Cardio endurance was definitely up tonight too, was able to push a higher intensity level at a higher RPM and still keep my BPM at a good rate. All around very satisfying workout tonight.

Went super strict on tris. I like the way my arms have felt after these last 2 w/o's going very strict.
Pump was average for the volume, timing and rep ranges. This was to be expected without dosing. I will dose for today's workout however.

thanks. now i don't want to mess around with my dosing. dosed 2 hours out today, and had a phenomenal workout. after NOS-FX dosing, i took in around 1700 calories and really had a couple increases at the gym that surprised me.

Very solid work, despite a headache the whole time. Afterwards, a libido dose. Didn't notice anything abnormal, but wanted to give it a second go around. This time, I dosed about 2 hours before activity. Didn't let my girlfriend know, so we could keep some spontaneity.

Chest and cardio earlier today. Had a bit of school work and it was a busy night at the hotel tonight so couldn't really get on til now. They changed the menu at dinner theater which was nice, cause I had a lot of baked monterey chicken and there were a few bistro steaks left (think mini filets). So I feasted tonight!

Last nights Bi's workout. Was pretty busy with Valentine's day and all that, so I was pretty fresh.

Sticking with the status quo, higher reps and strict form. So far, the last 2 workouts have felt great. Had an amazing pump at 7 caps at a 2 1/2 hours out dose. 1 last 6 cap workout and that will finish this log.
