    Has anyone on here used Isopure? If so what did you think of it? Im doing CKD and the whole 0 carb thing would be nice but not if its worth S*%t

  6. I just don't understand. Practically every protein manufacturer opts to leave the carbs out so that you can add your own in if needed. A protein supplement should not be labeled crap, if it doesn't contain carbs. That is just asinine.

    This guy was asking if Isopure was legit, and it is. Just as every other protein out there (almost). If you want carbs, take it with oatmeal, or whatever your carb choice may be.

    He also states in his post that he is on a CKD diet. Hence the zero carb.

  9. I've had it before in multiple flavors. Just tastes waaaaay too artificial/chemically for my tastes.

  10. depending on how much protein you use a day i wouldn't worry about the 2g-4g of carbs in most proteins...is it really that big of a deal? hell you'll burn that from the act of swallowing it!

  11. I am not a scientist so why should I figure out how many carbs to protein I need post work out. The shake I have now already does that to give me max benefits for post recovery and growth.

    You should work on this IMO. It will really help your gains if you pay attention to your diet. It is what you can attribute 85% of your gains to.

  13. My shake has a protein to carb ratio I feel comfortable with for post work out that I don't need to fiddle with.

    agreed. I'm on 20 carbs and I dont count the couple carbs per serving of almond butter or if they come from my protein powder. Its not a big deal. many people over analyze and make it way more complicated than is it. and that is why they dont grow.

    short answer Yes isopure works. has a nice amino acid profile. any protein will work. some kinds are better than others. this is quality stuff. I just didnt like the taste or price or something thats why i only bought it a few times.
