  1. Big Bad Prime Log


    On Monday the 3rd of November, I will begin my 8 week log of USPLabs Prime (two bottles, suggested serving 5 days on, 2 days off). I am not sponsored and I plan to be updating everyday if possible.

    Age: 19
    Exp.: 5 years of hard work, with some setbacks (2 hernias )
    Height: 5'11 or 6', depends on the day I guess
    Weight: 200

    My workouts will be M-F
    M: Shoulders/traps
    T: Legs/calves/abs
    W: Back
    Th: Chest/abs
    Fr: Bis/tris/foreams/calves
    Sat/sun: off with cardio

    I'll be going for 6-8 rep range, 3-5 excercises for each bodypart with 3-4 sets. I'll give my exact routine before/by Monday.

    My diet is going to be as clean of a bulk as I can manage, fairly high carbs, 4000-4500 cals a day, 400 g's of protein.

    As far as goals go, I'm hoping to, like everyone else who's experienced Prime, break some damn PR's, get some nice recomp going on, good vascularity, etc. etc. Basically: get bigger and stronger. It'd be cool to put on 5-10 pounds over these next 8 weeks. Harcore/dedicated training, committed diet/rest, and prime will hopefully get me there!

    This is my first log, and while I want to offer some light on the heavily discussed/criticized/praised Prime, this is also for personal benefit. Hope you enjoy and I welcome as much feedback as anyone could give

    morph looks pretty interesting and is on my list of things to try, but it seems like a lot of people had pretty big strength gains on it and i want the results of this log to be primarily focused on what Prime produced. That will probably be my next PWO in January.

    Behind-the-neck overhead press (4/6-8 rest pauses on last set)
    Widegrip upright row (3/6-8 with one drop set on last set)
    Leaning lat raise (3/8-10 with drop set)
    Bent over lat raise (3/8-10)
    Barbell shrug (3/6-8)
    Dumbell shrug (3/6-8)
    Legs/calves
    Leg press (6/6-8)
    Hack squat (4/6-8)
    Leg extension (4/8-10 with drop set)
    Romanian deadlit (4/8-10)

    Got a lot of the excercises from last months X-frame workout in M&F. Suggests a 5 day 2 off workout for mainly building mass and strength(sounds good for Prime if you ask me)

  11. First dose!


    Woke up, drank a 40g protein shake, ate three eggs, and a bagel. Took 3 capsules (upon reccomendation from poops, boro, and others, I will be loading with 9 caps this week). Also, a switch in my training schedule: Monday's will be chest, and Thursdays will be shoulders. Can't wait to lift!!

  12. Lets see how this one goes, I am on day 15 and day 12 I had some good strength increase along with a lot of other positive effects.

    Yah the first time around it's good to test out senstivity, you make have very high response and not need higher dosing.

    Yeah I've got a pretty universal tolerance for everything, and well, hell, me and JJC's logs are so alike I figured I'd throw a curveball in there for the initial week. Bout to take my 2nd dose with 4 eggs, 2 scoops peanut butter, and a 25g protein shake. Then...the gym!

    So far, there is definetly some kind of Prime presence. Can't really put my finger on it exactly, but it's definetly there. More soon!

  17. Alright, pretty good day at the gym. My workout went as follows:
    Incline Bench:

    Flat Bench:

    Incline flyes:

    Machine flyes:

    Dips:

    For abs, I did 4 sets of hanging leg raises and 3 sets of a crunch machine. But I did all of it in between sets of machine flys and dips, so basically, I didn't take a break for quite some time. So...on that note...

    Energy: 10/10
    Although I did take superpump250, I was noticeably more driven, focused, and basically physically motivated to do some f'in work

    Strength: 9/10
    Good workout, pushin through the lifts pretty easily. I don't think I rested enough at first though so there was a 2 minute period where I was feelin worked. But even then, my lifts didnt falter

    Recovery: 9/10
    Felt good. Definetly wasnt lagging.

    Pump: 10/10
    Great pump today, chest is still bulgin. Dono if its the Prime thats making it pumped or what, but definetly top quality pump going on

    Definetly had a good workout. Felt good/still feel good. Definetly notice a foreign presence (Prime?).Still got another serving to go, too early to say much but so far so good

  18. With that kind of workout your going to feel really pumped, the Prime probably hasn't really kicked in yet because that type of workout you would have been so pumped you could hardly move.

    Yeah, you couldnt be more right. After I posted that, I realized that it definetly was the workout. Haven't done that kind of routine in a month and a half, forgot how it feels i guess?
    And since that is the case, I can't wait till Prime actually shows itself.

    Prime Day 2:
    Today was leg day. Just a few months ago, I started doing legs again for the first time in 3 years due to 2 back to back hernias when I was 17. I played an entire lacrosse season on one of them, and the next an entire football season. So needless to say, the pain was brutal and sitting in bed for a month is near suicidal when your whole life is focused around physical activity. Seeing as I am nearly 100% positive both injuries stemmed from squatting and hauling a full keg across a yard while running, leg excercises scared me the most so I stayed away from them, at least until my upperbody became WAY too noticeably bigger than my lower body. Yada yada yada…point is, I don’t go too too extreme on leg day.

    Overall, good leg day. Wasn’t lagging at all, got a badass pump goin, felt like my recovery was good. Focus was noticeably good and towards the end I started doing ab work in between sets because I just didn’t feel like sitting around. Still too early to say if Prime is doing its job, but after taking it, I definetly feel what dreamweaver’s talkin about, the whole buzz/sensation/elevated thing or what have you. Back day tomorrow, one of my favorite workout days, major pumpage goin on.

    Question for anyone reading: I know USP’s anabolicpump and pslin are good to take with big carb meals, is Prime the same way? What I mean is, would the type/amount of food taken with it impact it’s potency? Took my first dose with breakfast which was big ol shake, some eggs, and a bagel. Took second dose with 12 oz chicken breast and 1 ˝ cups brown rice. Shoot me some advice if theres any to be…shot?

    Oh, and go see Zack and Miri make a porno. I swear on my Prime that it is some fuuuuuuuny shizzit.

  22. Yah there is no reason to think that Prime would work any better with carbs.... maybe with some fish oil to help absorbtion. Just take it with meals.

    Did back today. Damn good day, was pumped as all hell. Focus was great, energy superb, and was recovering very nicely in between sets. I'm not sure if it's the Prime, but I'm definetly feeling more fuller and I noticed 1 or 2 veins that are more noticeable prior to this week....

    Don't have time to list my routine, but will later. My back is still pumped, and I lifted at 3 and a half hours ago

    If thats the case, and Prime continues to deliver this continually density/pump thing, I might be trying Morph sooner than expected. Maybe my next preworkout...I mean Prime would only supposedly make Morph even better right?

  27. I would just stick with the prime for now, you seem to be a good repsonder and bigger things are on the horizon. I am rock hard around the clock when on prime. Activate and Drive gave me this kind of feeling but nothing like this. I feel like I could knock down walls like the Juggernaught...

    Ah, the juggernaught, havent heard that name in a while.

    yeah, i seem to be responding pretty well to Prime indeed, I'll probably just stick with a conventional preworkout (might try assault, white flood, or perhaps ragnarok) when my superpump runs out. Shoulders and traps today, and im definetly expecting a badass workout
  29. Day 4


    Had a great shoulders/traps workout. I was blowing through the sets, and definetly felt some kind of push to keep going. Did a lot more than I had intended on doing and had to slow myself down because I felt rested enough to get to another set after just 30 seconds of rest I think Prime is started to come through, I mean it has to be. I'm definetly feeling something different, and my muscles are starting to feel fuller in a sense. I'll post todays and yesterdays routines later when I have the time (at work currently). Looking forward to a massive arms day tomorrow.
