    Prime


    Starting Monday, November 3 2008 I will be logging my 8 week (2 bottle) run of USPLabs PRIME. This is an unsponsored log which I will update at the end of every two weeks (too much can change from day to day to update on a daily basis, eg good/bad workouts, stress levels, change in food intake, etc).

    My stats:
    Age: 24
    Experience: 4 years of dedication
    Height: 5'10"
    Weight: 192.5 (end of last week - will weigh in first day of Prime)
    194 (before 1st workout)

    My routine will be MAX-OT weeks 19-26 (this week is a recuperation week):

    Weeks 19-22:
    Back and Traps
    Chest and Calves
    Biceps and Triceps
    Legs and Abs
    Shoulders and Forearms

    Weeks 23-26:
    Chest and Abs
    Biceps and Forearms
    Legs and Calves
    Shoulders and Triceps
    Back and Traps

    Diet: I will be bulking as clean as possible. I can post my diet later if anyone is interested. EDIT: My diet is about 40-50% carbs and protein each with fat at about 10%. Basically, I do not try to add in any additional fats when possible since I'm finding that most foods contain some fat and it really starts to add up when you start adding in nuts, olive oil, etc.

    Goals: I would like to hit 200 pounds at some point. That will be my goal. It is set high because I want to try my hardest to get there even though realistically it will not happen. Strive for perfection...

    This log is mainly for my own uses but join me for the ride if you're interested in an unbiased opinion!

    I'll be following because I'll be running an 8 week log as well starting November 3rd (...altho possibly the following Monday so I could spend the week finding my 3RM's) and i'td be interesting to compare results. I've got about the same goals, I've been cutting and want to go from 192 to about 200 lbs with fairly clean bulk eating. Good luck brah

    Sounds good man. This should make for a good side-by-side comparison. Not sure what size you are in your avy pic but it looks like you've got an edge on me as far as your starting point.

    Yeah I can't wait to get back in the gym. Depending on how I feel after this cycle will help me determine whether or not I go to the dark side soon...natural for now though for sure!

    I find Prime one of the best non hormonal supps out there. Hope it works well for you guys too.
    Btw.. making one bottle last one month is not easy. Its very tempting taking it on the off days too.

    I'm bout 6'0 200 pounds, had two hernias back to back a few years ago that have kept me from doing legs too seriously (sqauts freak me out) until a few months ago, so I should be like 215/220 if my legs were as developed as my upper body...not that i have chicken legs by any means haha good definition and fair amount of size, but i have a pretty big upperbody. Hoping to make up lost time with these bottles of prime.

    What's your training regimen/diet going to consist of? Mine will be:
    M: shoulders and traps
    T: legs/calves/abs
    W:back
    Th:chest/abs
    Fr:bis/tris/calves

    Sat/Sun I won't be taking Prime, but will likely do some cardio and light ab work. My diet will be around 4000 calories a day, mostly clean, pretty high carbs, bout 400 g's of protein a day. Looking forward to comparing gains with ya dawg

    Sucks to hear about the hernias. That would piss me off so badly. As much as the leg days really wipe me out there's such a sense of accomplishment on those really good days. I'm hoping they continue for me...just last week I tied my PR in squats (315 x 4).

    My training regimen is in my first post. But I'll post a more detailed list tomorrow with exercises. Diet will be similar to yours as well. Mostly carbs and protein, maybe 10% fat (I'm trying not to eat fats on purpose since most food contains some fat and it starts to add up quickly).

    yeah...hernias....not so good. played a whole season of lacrosse on one of em and 3/4 ofa season of football on the other. ****ing extreme right? haha jk

    but yeah they suck. super psyched bout our logs tho, fellow primer

    I suppose I don't have to. But that's how Max-OT is set up, how Prime is recommended to be dosed, and how my work schedule is set up. I like having my weekends free and as of late I've been traveling a lot on the weekends. I know I'm not going pro and having the gym on work days allows for me to have something to look forward to (if I go after work) or something to feel good about all day (if I go in the morning).

    Maybe in the future I'll switch to something different, but that's how I'll be going for these 8 weeks.

    2 Week Update


    Starting Weight: 194
    Today's Weight: 197.5 (+3.5)

    First Impressions:

    I've been on Prime for two weeks now and so far I'm not exactly sure if I've felt anything, per say. There have been times where I've taken a dose then somewhat later I have stopped myself and realized I was more focused on whatever I was doing than I would have thought I would be. Workouts have been up and down, since my schedule got a little messed up due to traveling for work mid week 1 and last week was quite stressful. I'm getting over a slight cold from this past weekend but have yet to miss a workout.

    What I have noticed are the pumps. At times they are quite strong. Haven't really felt pumps like that since using ALRI's WTF Pump'd pre-w/o. Kinda fun.

    Strength gains have been normal. I've been able to do the same or more weight or reps for almost every lift in every workout so far.

    Weight gain has been good. But I have also been trying hard to eat. No doubt some of it is fat. And coming off of a week off, some of it is water weight and muscle glycogen restoring.

    So far I would say my results are inconclusive. In no way have I had any negative sides but I'm holding off my excitement until I really feel something, notice any intense vascularity, or strength changes.
