A Review of Animal Omega

  1. A Review of Animal Omega

First of all... thanks Universal Rep for hooking me up with a free can of this stuff... by which I'm deeply impressed. I was a little worried about the soft gels at first because in the past the texture of them has made me throw-up. These, however, go down nicely, due to the fact that they have a quality gel coating, again, unlike many other soft gel supplements. To tell you the truth, these soft gels wash down easier than tablets or even capsules. So in that sense... I'm impressed. Another thing that impresses me is the completeness of Animal Omega. I'll get my can out right now and read what it says... OK, for your omega 3s it's got flaxseed oil, salmon oil, cod liver oil, herring oil, anchovy oil, mackerel oil, sardine oil... what fish oil doesn't it have? On top of that, for your omega 6s it's got borage oil, safflower oil, evening primrose oil, and sesamin. It even has it's own absorbtion complex consisting of lechithin (soy), L-carnitine, and lipase enzyme. Then you get a decent (around the 50% DV range) amount of vitamin A, D, and E. All of this with only 1g of saturated fat. What's more? Animal Omega contains the precise ratio you need. I was reading online about the ratio of omega 3 to 6 that you need and then was worried that Animal didn't have that... so I checked the can and sure enough it says "each pak contains a precise, pre-dosed ratio." Pretty awesome. I mean it's like they say... Omegas are essential. Without them you can't even live. Oh yeah, did I mention the convenience of it? Just pop 1 pack a day, containing 7 soft gels and 1 capsule, with any meal and all of your EFA bases are covered... ALL OF THEM! And no fish burps either, LOL. Here... I'll post the supplement facts.

  2. Great review. Glad you love the Animal Omega. It's definitely a staple product for me.

  3. Thanks brother. What I especially like--other than the completeness--is the use of molecularly distilled oils and no fish burps.

  8. seems like a solid supp, and regarding the cans, I save them, slice a line in the top to make a bank, fill it with spare change which I then use to buy more supps.

  9. It may be posted somewhere else, but is it stated how much EPA, GLA & DHA are in each serving?
