    About calcium supplementation ...

I have found that the best Calcium supplement is Tums! It is basically Pharmaceutical grade Calcium carbonate USP and its dirt cheap. It provides about 400mg of elemental Calcium per tablet.

Hey everyone.... if you want to easily track macro and micro nutrients, do what I do - I use CRON-o-Meter. This is a program that you can install on your pc, which tracks not only the big 3 (protein, carbs, and fat) but also using the USDA tables, vitamins, minerals, omega 3, omega 6, and much more. It is fully customizable and you can set all limits individually or use the USDA guidelines as a target. The best part is its FREE!! Just google CRON-o-Meter and you can download at will.

Not necessarily, it depends on individual stomach HCL content. High HCL, calcium carbonate disolves and absorbs well. Low stomach HCL, calcium citrate is king.
