    Awesome episode! I am a big big promotor of the importance of CNS in strength trained athletes. If you look at previous posts you can see how much I preach CNS. It is in my opinion one of the most over looked factor in people living our lifestyle.

    Lots of great info in that episode.

    Ill agree, great show. I wonder if stimulnats should be removed after listening to this? Also I train 5/3/1 and this kinda doesnt follow what is discussed here, a westside template/variation would fit much better in the recovering of the cns based on this. Although there is a deload week in 5/3/1. Time to go research lol

    I never low carb and it makes sense after listening why I hate low carb diets so much. I also train similar to the way he describes. I mades some adjustments today though. I always do my best to keep stims to moderation but sometimes with life work and lifting you just need them.

    Yea I hear ya. I try to not use stims for then 3-4 times a week. I guess 5/3/1 isnt to far off, not exactly perfect but there are worse routines out there, plus there is a deload which helps. Westside imo is still more ideal for proper cns recovery, esp with the dynamic work. Makes sense why that camp is so elite.
