Just a Syringe measuring question?

hey, ive had my experience with injectables but one of my vials ended short of what i thought. It was a 10ml vial and looked filled almost to the top but i ran short 2 weeks which brought me to the question: When drawing the oil where do you measure from on the syringe?....the bottom of the plunger or the top, closest to the needle? I always measure the line on the top of the plunger (closest to the needle) to the line of ml wanted.

kinda newbish but im sure its a common mistake.
 
I had the same problem (was short 250mg-500mg test in my vial), and asked this same question on another board, and they told me I was doing it right( same measuring method as you). However, I think you lose at least 250mg after from all the drawing(ever notice all the oil on top of your stopper when your done that **** adds up).

ok thanks.

actually i never really get any oil on the stopper, the only time i could think it wastes is when i squirt just a lil out of the needle to get the air out and i like to lube the needle with it...and maybe the lil that is left in the needle colored chamber.
 
I shake the crap out of it, just prior to draw....Pist bro, you are doing it right....prolly under dosed.
 
This is the best pic i could find piston. Where it's marked 26ml is the point on the syringe where you measure from. Hope that helps.

thanks for finding tha pic trauma, that is exactly where i would measure. nice to see i have common sense! haha, i was too lazy to look for a pic to be honest. ill rep you for that.
