just felt like sharing my new love for lat injections....fvck sweet spot if you ask me! feels like a pump the few days later, not uncomfortable, holds alot of oil, i feel it helps me focus on hitting the lats more during back workouts, and i love lats anyway ...my delts were tops but with the scar tissue building up and slightly more discomfort lats have jumped up to the top.

No offense to you PP in anyway, but i just don't get people that take risks with injecting in non-approved landmark sites with IM injections. It's asking for trouble. I encourage you to stay within approved sites. Just looking out for you bro.........man to inject your lats you must be a reacharound specialist haha :blink::lol::lol:

Trauma, i thought the lats were an approved site? i mean my not be as commonly used but i didnt think it was bad. What are the approved sites? ...quad, glute, delt?

For IM injection they are deltoid, vastus lateralis, ventrogluteal, and dorsogluteal. You can use lats for subcutaneous injections, but i wouldn't be doing IM injects in them. Approved landmark IM injection sites contain a considerable muscle mass for absorbtion while minimizing interference with underlying nerves and vasculature.

Subcutaneous injection sites are used to inject into underlying fat layer where there is little blood flow so the medication is absorbed more slowly.

pin at an angle. The pectoral muscle is round, so there's various angles that reach the same point in the muscle, but can help to further bypass the unlikely risk of penetrating too deep.
