  3. I don't get it,love the damn things. You worked hard for them, and no one can take them away from you. Some say lotions help, and others say they don't.I love them though,I have some good sized ones on the inside of my upper legs, and smaller ones going down my legs. But only two small ones on my left underarm. They start to get less noticeable with time, lots of time.

The only thing I hear even minor positive feedback on is Strivectin.

  6. Maybe some topical Vitamin E cream/oil?

  7. I think it's vit e and cocoa butter lotions.Some have both.

  8. it took about a year, but mine have faded drastically by using cocoa butter (for the first couple of months it was EVERY night and then I got really sporadic with it...nonetheless they are no longer visible)

  9. Mine are less and less visible as well, with nothing. It happens naturally like a scar. When people do use vit e and cocoa lotions,it's to hopefully prevent stretchmarks.Thats what doctors recomend to preg women.Ask your Mom and other mothers what they did or heard, again some use lotions and still get them, some don't use anything and don't get them.

I got a sample bottle of that stuff before and tried it. It works immediately, but after application it kind of dries up.

Keep in mind that stretchmarks are not usually caused by the movement itself. They happen mostly due to Rapid muscle/weight gain. Which could mean that you are doing something right. I know you hate the way they look, but the only thing you can do to stop/prevent them would be to quit working out/gaining weight/muscle.

Most of the things out there are only topical creams that can help the tone of the mark, but never actually heal it internally. If you were to quit gaining, then over time they would turn the color of your skin-tone.

Stretchmarks are a tear in the 2nd layer of the dermis. There are 3 layers. So essentially there is a tear in between the two.

They are supposed to be releasing some sort of laser treatment in the next couple years.

Doctors usually prescribe Retin A for this. Or at least they did for me. I never went and picked up the script though, as I doubted it's potential as stretchmark treatment.

    /rant off lol

    Yeah,thats what i meant.

  12. Cocoa butter's the shizzle. When I 1st finished my psych degree I worked in a rehab & I talked to a bunch of ex (maybe current you never know) heroin addicts who had track marks on their arms & a few used cocoa butter a few times a day & it worked. If it takes away tracks I'm sure it'll work for stretch marks.

Shea butter seems to be superior.

I have a bunch of different exotic nut butters here that I am going to experiment with...we are looking to do a completely exotic blend, WAY better than the standard Body Butter.

I assume this means you guys are looking to produce a related product? I also seen somewhere about your thoughts of a P5P inclusive vitamin/acid blend. Look forward to it as all your products if seen thus far are awesome.

Aggravated is right, topical creams can't help because of the nature of how stretchmarks occur. They are not like a typical scar because they originate in the lower level of the dermis.
