Question about steroid powder/crystals

Hey I was wondering how hard it is to find powder to be making your own gear for stuff like enanthate, propionate or even EQ. Has anyone had luck making their own stuff and how did it go? And is it illegal to be buying the powder/crystals...whatever it may be?
