Missing 2-3 days during a cycle

Hey guys, whats your take on missing 2-3 days of a PP cycle due to illness. I came down with a nasty flu and pretty much threw the towel in when the fever first hit me 2 days ago. No gym time, diet, um, is ginger ale part of a normal diet? =)
Now that im back on my feet somewhat and possibly ready to hit the gym tomorrow could I just resume without a hitch or is the cycle done for? Starting tomorrow would be day 1 of week 4.
The part that has me perplexed about this is "they" say the real gains start coming in at around week 3-4, id hate to throw it all away at this point but can it even be salvaged?
