How about a "Search for Dummies" sticky?

I can do the basic searches, but in a couple of posts I have seen descriptions of more complex searches to find detailed information. We've all seen the "Use the search button" reply used so often, but where do people go after getting that reply to learn how to rely use it effectively? Maybe a sticky on search techniques would help a lot of people.

Agreed! I'm not bad with the search function, but then again, I don't know what I don't know. Some advanced searching instructions would be great.
