is this M4OHT? i guess that but the 3beta is up front when i am used to seeing it at the end. maybe it doesnt matter?

also, does anyone know if 17a-clostebol is on that list? doesnt look like it...

It looks like methyl 4-AD. I'm not sure why it wasn't just listed as 17-methyl-4-androstenediol, esp. when 4-androstenediol itself is on that same list.

i dont think this is a diol (PH) - this is an active steroid, thus the 4-ene structure

It's clearly a "diol"; it has two -OH groups, at C3 and C17. The 4-ene structure doesn't imply it's going to be active; it also needs a ketone (=O group) at C3 (although some people think that 4AD could be intrinsically anabolic). The 4-ene (double bond at C4) isn't always requirred for an AAS to be anabolic but, if you don't have it, you'll most certainly need something like a double bond at C1 or C2, or a methyl group at C2 (like in superdrol), so that it doesn't get deactivated at skeletal muscle by 3bHSD enzyme.

To answer your question:

17[alpha]-methyl-3[beta],17[beta]-dihydroxyandrost-4-ene = methyl-4AD = 17-alpha-methyl-4AD
