Blood pressure monitor

Hey guys,

I have never ran PHs or anabolic steroids but I figured you guys would be the authority around here as far as controling blood pressure is concerned.

I'm 23 years old and weight 170 at about 12% BF. Jokingly about two weeks ago my brother and I were walking through the local grocery store and decided to see who had a better BP reading. His was perfect. As for me....148/64! I couldnt believe it. I ran across town and tried it on another machine and it gave a similar reading. How can my diastolic pressure still be so low?

My bro had a bag of anabolic innovations cycle support and told me to start taking two scoops a day for about a week and see what happens. Is this good advice?

Now to my real question. Can you guys suggest a reliable blood pressure monitor under 100 dollars.

Thank you.

Ive got a Reli-ON BP monitor from Wal-Mart, it works pretty well. The BP monitors at the store can provide funky results, especially if your arm is 17"+ , its too big for the cuff and can make your pressures look higher.

Supplements that work well for lowering BP:

Celery seed extract
Hawthorn Berry
C12 (Twinlab Blood Pressure Control)
PowerFULL

I sure there are a few others but I cant think of them at the moment.

If you have BP problems, the first thing you should do is analyze your diet and training situation to see what your could be doing to cause it.

Eating too much sodium? Are you doing enough cardiovascular exercise? Some people, with genetic hypertension (like me), can have their blood pressure go up if they're not careful with diet, etc. Others seems like they can eat a lb of salt a day and be fine!:D

If after you've done everything you think you've could and your systolic BP is still over 140 (some say 130), time to see a doc. And make sure you do - high BP is nothing to mess around with.

I got mine tested the other day in one of those machines at Target, and my arm felt like it was going to pop. If you want an accurate reading, go see a doc.

Here is a BP monitor. I personally use as does my wife, who has VERY low BP and was instructed to use 2 - 3 times a day.

So it DEFINITELY is long lasting.

I ordered a BP monitor today and also got some Hawthorne Berry Extract and Celery Seed Extract.

I'm going to start taking 1g of the Hawthorne daily along with 150mg of the celery seed. How does this sound?
