found something funny on spotinjections

this looks to me like a 22g, 1.2' ?! Ouch ! and it also seems like he's shooting at least 3cc .... anyone here has done or do that with that type of size ? bottom line, do not always follow the instructions on spotinjections....

Yup looks like a 22g 1.5" to me also. He could be doing 2.5cc, I was doing that with my test once a week with a 22g 1" in my shoulder. It was fine.

that's actually past the 2.5 mark on the barrel.

I can pin 3cc's in my delt fine, but my bicep is another story. Some people can just tolerate different things.

Wow, that looks really painful. I don't think I could ever pin my bi's...well maybe. But definately not with that big ass pin. I've pinned with a 20g and it really doenst feel much different than a 23 or 25.

Spotinjections also shows the wrong place to pin on the glute. the real site is much higher up.

Yeah youre right Ubiquitous, It is past the 2.5 mark i looked a little too quickly. I cant imagine doing the bicep either. I havent done any other spot then my shoulders. but this next time around i'm gonna switch it up some, maybe between shoulders/glutes/and chest. I wont lie though i am a little nervous about the chest one lol

lol, yeah the chest is wierd at first. The scariest for me was the Ventroglute, as you think you're going to stick your hip.. but after you do it once or twice, it's smooth... plus you can inject a huge amount of oil there with no problem. That's why I have 5cc barrels now. :D

yeah i have yet to do the ventroglute also, im gonna try it though seems a little tough considering how you have to twist youreself some.was it hard for you?.5cc barrels? Dang! thats alot of oil but if you can do that much more power to ya. I know it takes me a few minutes to get 2.5 in with a 23g jeez that must take a while huh? lol

... why is he flexing the muscle he's injecting?

I don't know.

I saw somewhere else where somebody recommended flexing before injecting in the bicep. So I gave it a try, and it was incredibly unpleasant. I have never gone back to bicep shots since then because it makes me uncomfortable just thinking about it.

I dont think he is flexing really, I think it looks that way from resting your arm on a table like your doing a curl, along with him having some bodyfat like i have it could make it look like hes flexing, try it and see what i mean. i was curious too so i rested my arm on a table like i was doing a curl and sure enough it looked like i was flexing some.

Even if i ever get up the nerve for a bicep shot i would never flex it before or during. that would def hurt IMO

You don't need to twist for the ventro, that's the beauty of it bro. Getting big barrels like 5cc's allows you to aspirate say, 4cc's without worrying about running out of room. :) Yes it takes a while, so you need a steady hand and a comfy position.

@ubiquitous, the ventroglute is just behind the hips bones, a bit under, right ? And It is where we should all shoot actually instead of the gluteus maximus.. ?

Yeah, it's under the hip bone, that's what makes it sketchy.. it feels like a dense triangle of flesh.. You can locate it by putting your palm on you hip bone, tracing the greater trochanter with your index finger (pointing down along it), spread your fingers and it's pretty much inbetween your index and middle finger.. I had links that show it better, but I don't have the patience at this time.

I hit both the Ventroglute and the Dorsaglute (Gluteus Maximus).. as well as every were else.. the only place that I'm getting scar tissue that's discernable is in my delts.. I hear the pin squeak when it slides in..
