Before I stock up on SD

Just wondering if nay of you guys have used any SD knockoff's. Such as Legal Gears Methyl Supervol. No too into Legal Gear but if its the same exact compound I'd rather not shell out $100+ right now, but if I have to I'll stock up. Just wanted to see what you guys thought.
