I'm not going to take the time to read the literature on this. One reason they may refer to discovering or creating this in a concentration camp is the fact that many prisoners were subjects of in depth yet gruesome medical experiments. As sick as it is some medical advances were made from the Germans and Japenese alike due to these crazy experiments. Anyway, that may be why.
