Can whatman filters remove any of the active ingredient from a fina conversion?

You mean will it take out the 'good stuff'? If that is what you mean than IMO the answer is no but even if it took out some of it what are your alternatives to filtering it?

thats about what I figured.
...and CROWLER, you are right there is no option to filtering. It is nice to know if you are losing any amount of chemical for dosing purposes.

Ah I got ya

I think that people figure they are getting roughly 96% of what they started out with so they use that to figure their dosing amounts.
