    For everybody not hungry on SD


    Take 100 mg. of R-ALA a 1/2 hour before every meal. Keep some food on hand for when you get hungry. Keep some extra around because you probably won't be full for long. I'm not. Works like a dream.

    Have you ever tried the ALA when you were still completely full from the meal before?

    I am curious because eating is REALLY becoming a pain. I am still completely OVER full when it is time for my next meal and would LOVE a solution to the problem.

    Well I just started experimenting with the doses of R-ala before every meal. I was taking 100 mg pre/post workout in the morning but started thinking about it and decided to start doing the Anarchy Stack Protocol of 100 mg before every meal. Try taking it right before you eat so the first thing digested is the ALA. Let me know how it works. I ate dinner, salmon and rice and now, an hour later, I finished off a bowl of whole grain cereal with a banana. I still feel empty. Shake is next, then bed.

    Sounds like the effects of another herbal supplement I know... *puff puff*

    But seriously, do many people have trouble eating on SD? I'm usually looking forward to the next meal 2.5 hrs later after I finish the current one...lol.

    I'm always concerned that I'm not getting enough calories during the day, so when I eat, I eat as much as I can. I can't always time my meals properly either. I've found with the R-ALA that I get the same feeling as really needing to eat right after a hard workout. That empty tank feeling. Fill er up.

    i'm with you... i'm on my 4th week of having to shove food down my throat from not being hungry on sd. What i want to know is what is r-ala and whre do i get my hands on some? Thanks

    R-ALA is R alpha lipoic acid. It deals directly with insulin sensitivity, nutrient uptake. You can get it at Nutraplanet or Custom Nutriton Warehouse on this forum. Read up on it. It's good stuff.

    Try Multi grain Oatmeal. 1 cup is 260 cal. I've had 2 bowls today and will probably have another shortly after dinner.

    The reason I figured I would give this a try is that I have some ALA left over and REALLY can not stand eating as much as I need to.

    Then in rereading your original post I see you are using R-ALA.

    I tried the ALA at 500mg before my first 2 meals and it had no effect on my hunger. Infact I ate less than I usually do and have ZERO appetite.

    Maybe the R-ALA would work but I am not going to buy any just hoping it would help.
