Semen Test coming up
Been cycling for a year and married since '98 with no kids and it ain't from a lack of trying. While juicing I'm aware you'll be shooting blanks and do to a job coming up I started a new cycle that is conflicting with a semen test. If I go thru with this test is there any red flags that will go up that would indicate I'm using steroids other than the fact that I'm shooting blanks. I'll probally postpone the test anyway.

Um...he's not on this board, but there's a very reputable member of several other boards that got his wife pregnant while on cycle. Now...I don't know at what point during the cycle, but I do remember him posting that info, and him (and others) thinking it was odd.

If its just a sperm count test (why a job would need this I have no idea) then no worries. They just put it under a scope and count. If they are looking for drugs. You may have a problem.Originally Posted by I-WISH-A-MF-WOD

If you're having it tested for your own reasons you have nothing to be worried about.
Here's the info you're looking for:
Male Infertility Is Reversible
As long as you don't have some other problem keeping you from reproducing, your sperm count should be normal in 3-6 months after cessation of androgen therapy.

There is no job, at least to my knowledge, that requires, or can order, a sperm count test. I can see it now..."here's a room, a cup, and a nice porn video library for you to choose from. We'll check back after a few minutes, then you may return to work." The only thing that may happen is during a physical exam when they take blood. If they check testosterone levels that may send up a red flag to them to do additional testing. They usually check blood cells, liver enzymes, etc. for the most part.

I don't see the point in taking the semen test on cycle. We know you'll be inhibited, and it'll raise a red flag with your Dr. and insurance company.Originally Posted by I-WISH-A-MF-WOD
Finish the cycle, do PCT, and then take the test. IMO.
