Lat injection?

Do people inject into their lats? I mean its a solid piece of muscle, but I never really hear of people doing it there. Any insight into this? Any insight or reasons why/why not would be greatly appreciated :)

I inject IGF-1lr3 in my lats pwo. Feel like a monster for the next 24 hrs. because of the pump.

Anywhere there is muscle, it's being pinned....traps, lats, tris, bis (never heard forearms??) but pretty much everywhere.

I hear of lat shots being done fairly often. I've been tempted to try it once or twice but always change my mind

ive done it twice, its a pretty hard shot because you have to flare the lat but try to keep it as relaxed as possible. Aspiration was a big of a nightmare so was seeing if there was any blood in a small 2ml barrel.

My mate often puts 3ml into each lat, he loves sticking sust in there says its painless.

Only site ive never seen done is forearms, probably because of the large amounts of veins in there.

I have heard of guys doing it, But they usually have big lats, If theres enoguh muscle there you can do it

Join the club my friend. There's just something about certain areas that make me cringe when I got to stick the pin. Pecs is another spot I can't seem to actually pin.

I don't know if its because I have never pinned before or what, but in my mind lat would be one of the least painful lol. Guess I'll find out when I start my cycle.

I've pinned IGF1 in my forearms. The veins are so close to the surface it is easy to pick a spot that doesn't have them. Hurts like a mofo though; lots and lots of sensative nerves there.

But I can't pass up the opportunity for site specific growth :)

I went for the ventro for the first time on my first shot of this week and wow! Don't know what I did but damn, its swollen and hurts like a son of a bitch.

Ill give it another go though :D

OMFG! First time i went for Ventro, i was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off and nailed something that my body just didnt like much. It was swollen for 1.5wks and the first 2-3 days after the inject, i could literally hardly walk and was one of the most painfull things I've ever experienced. I knew I hit a nerve, and that was the cause of the problems, but I had no clue when i hit it what was in store....must have been connected to the sciatic nerve or something...it was bad.

But, after I got the balls to do it a second time, it was cake. I've done 2 more since then and they're easy as ****! Easy to reach and painless

I've done lats and pecs fairly often with Sledge Test..about 1-2 ml each. Besides lats being hell on earth to aspirate one-handed, it went pretty well, no pain, missed the veins and made my lats pump up nicely.

Pecs are little more delicate if you're of modest build like me but well worth pinning IMO. Pinning IGF in the pecs really gave me some added definition.

Calves are an area I will likely never pin again..f'ing painful and the depots always leak out just from walking around.

Ventro has actually become one of my favs. It's easy to reach and aspirate for sure and it's usually painless. Here's what I've learned though:

1) Always make sure you are towards the front of your body and not toward the glute.
2) Take it slow. The shot is usually painless as can be but there are a couple of nice nerves there that can really put you through the ceiling if you strike one.
3)To find the right spot make a V (like a peace sign) with your middle and index fingers. Now lay the index finger nail (palm up) against the first illiac crest (the bump on your pelvic bone toward the front of your body. Then place the nail of the middle finger on the upper illiac crest (the bump at the top of the pelvic bone.) Now lay the back of those two fingers down on the side of your body with out moving your fingers from position. You should now have a V formed on your hip by your fingers. The correct spot is directly between the knuckes of both fingers, basically the center of the V.

Hope that helps.

Odd...personally, i headed more "back" on my ventro shots that went easy. When in doubt, I flex my ass...find the gluteus medius and now I know where to pin :) I just find the "thicker" part of it and pin there.

Thank you for that. I was more around the back, over the dimple created by flexing my glutes. Completely painless while doing it, but now I am wishing I would have went to my usual rotation spot in the delt

Damn...well, to give you an idea of where I went, it was practically on the greater trochanter, but a little more forward and a tad higher. When I hit the nerve, my whole body shook like I was electricuted. LOL. That night...no so bad at all. A little sore, the next day BAD, day #2 was so bad I'll never forget it...lol

That seems low. What gauge and length of pin are you using? I even find 1" can be a bit too long for ventro shots. I only insert a 1" pin about 3/4 of the way in for ventro.

Now that I think of it, if you are shooting that far back you probably hit the sciatic nerve. Especially considering the overall effect it had and pain it caused. Ventro gluteal shots are done on your side and directly above the trochanter. It's actually a pretty small muscle but becoming one of the favoured shots in the medical community.

Yeah I realize now I was a little far around back too.

Do you lie down when hitting the ventro? Stand, sit?
I always stand with the leg relaxed to help the muscle stand out more.

I found this as a good guide for ventrogluteal injections (for the search engine)
