    Injection Depth

    How far should I be injecting into various muscles? How can I tell if it's in deep enough?

    I usually use 1.5" only if I'm delivering 2ml or more, whether it be legs or glutes

    1" is a good all around size. I believe it also depends on a persons density, muscle/fat, to which size he uses. While one can get away with using a 1" for glutes, the other may require a 1.5".

    1" should work for everything. Injection depth otherwise is really insignificant as long as injections are intramuscular.

    Yes, but higher volumes require deeper injection to avoid knots and pain and get good release kinetics. I wouldn't go higher that 2ml with a 1" usually. It depends on the muscle really.

    In case you have not seen it, there is a good site on sticks called;

    www.spotinjections.com

    I found it very helpful when starting out and as a refresher from time to time.
