This will be a very particular log with a very particular goal: My long awaited return from what turned out to be a devastating injury.
Until this rather complex myofascial injury hit me, I had been lifting very seriously from the ages of 15 (start very mild obviously) to the age of 22 when I was forced to stop all lifting and lose what had been my lifes work, my body. Over the next 2 years I worked on finding a way to treat what was happening, various doctors and therapists proved to be worthless and a waste my time.
Finally at the end of that period I managed to start some progress with very intense deep massage therapy and Graston Technique scrapping (incredibly painful) which allowed me to start light running, which eventually allowed me to start some light lifting. I managed some good progress but I realized I could do better by trying Bikram Yoga. The added heat helped release the fascia and allow me to better exercise and work on rehabilitating my body. A sweet added bonus was that it turned out to be such a good workout that I started recomping.. After some months I finally got to the point where I can see the finish line. Its hard to convey how much this means at this point, this injury has been the toughest bitch ive ever dealt with and its taken me on a physical and emotional roller-coaster that taught me many lessons and changed me in many ways for the better, but lets just say I would never wish it on anyone...ever.
AAAnyways enough with that, this is a FUN log!
Because this is going to become THE most exciting period of my life. My return to my former body and beyond. Due to the severity of the effect this injury had on my life (not gonna go into more detail guys...) I have decided to take a rather aggressive approach, as far as supplementation goes, to whats going to become of the next months of my life and this log. What I mean by this is, you know how sometimes you wish you could just take every supplement at once and see WTF happens.... Yeah...that kind of log...but in a good way. I will try to use as much evidence and reasoning to build my supplement intake regime and try to push the boundaries of what supplements, natural and hormonal, can do for your body. This also means this will be a constantly evolving log. This log will also be composed of 3 distinct phases, each with its own stack of supplements and training protocols.
Note: As I said, this log will be based on reasoning, and part of that is your advice. I respect the knowledge that many of you have acquired over the years and will welcome any argument into consideration, just try not to be a dick about it...i know some people get really heated about giving others their opinion...ANYWAYS
Phase 1: Finishing REHAB - Undetermined legnth - RECOMP
I am still working out the last kinks of my injury, mostly tightness around my left pec/shoulder/scapula/ribs area and left arm, as well as some general muscle imbalances from my lifting days and my extended hiatus. This phase will last as long as it takes me to reach the minimum state I deem proper to start pushing my body beyond normal. I want to be fully healed and able to lift without any worries of further injury (as long as I maintain the weight I lift at a reasonable level).
Diet:
I am doing a 40c/30p/30f Breakdown
For my bodyweight and height that comes out to about 2600 calories at maintenance (this is a recomp as well as a recovery log and so far this calorie range has worked out great for me).
This comes out to about:
259g carbs
194g protein
86g fat
I get most of my calories from 1% milk, rolled oats, Myofusion protein powder, Honey, Fearns soy lecithin granules, grass fed beef, protein pasta, brown rice, chicken, pork and cold cut-veggie sandwiches.
Additionally, I will be doing some low carb, high sat fat, high cholesterol days on some off days, at same total calories or slightly lower to account for the lack of exercise. Ive had good experiences doing this during my IF days and Im going to give it a shot to keep my diet interesting and see if I can squeeze a little more T and fat loss out of my diet
Supplements:
5a-Laxogenin: 150mg/day EPG Laxozome for the 1rst 3 weeks (1 week after begining of this log) - DermaSTRENGTH Unleashed from 3rd week on.

As you may or may not have noticed, I am trying kill a gyno flare. My injury caught me at the tail end of a cycle and lets just say things got a little weird. I am now finally about to kill it as well and I figured, AIs boost test already, I might aswell try to boost my test to its max for....multiple reasons. Plus, why not plump up my boys before I start the next phase and start messing with them??
Training Protocol:
So far Bikram yoga is giving me the most benefit all around which is why I have decided to do:
Bikram Yoga (Difficulty 1 out of 2) 3x/week 60min.
Full upper body routine 1x-2x a week depending on how I feel.
- 10min cardio warm up
-LOTS of stretching
- 3x Supersets of low weight high reps, time under tension including side shoulder flies, standing shoulder press, rear shoulder flys, bicep curls, dumbbell shrugs. It is basically a rotation that burs out all the muscles around my shoulder and arms while minimizing risk of injury.
-3x Supersets of low weight high reps, time under tension including pulldowns, behind the neck pulldowns, pullups and seated rows.
-Lots of stretching.
-3x Supersets of low weight high reps, time under tension including various chest rehab exercises (my chest needs the most work and this is where I am actually looking into use the BPC-157 for)
As I said, this an evolving log AND I would like you input. If you think I can do things better, add something to my stack or try something new you think might benefit me, im all ears!
BONUS: At the end of this phase I will get bloodwork done to see what this combination was able to do with my test levels, maybe ill also take a look at my GH and IGF-1 to see how well the MK-677 is working.
Logging for this phase will be rather loose. I will report important details and general progress of my injury and any possible hints as to when the next phase will begin. I will also use this phase to discuss with members and work on optimizing the entire journey as much as possible.
