Confused about free T range

I got blood checked and I'm not sure whether results make sense compared to the values I read on the net.

Total T = 530ng/dl (160-726ng/dl range) measured by CL
Free T= 26pg/ml = 2.6ng/dl (0.1-2.8ng/dl range) measured by ELISA test

First thing: range for TT seems low compared to what I usually read on the net. Are ranges specific to a particular assessment method? Ranges should be an objective value of the observed population no?

Second thing: the free T ranges I have seen are in the 35-110pg/ml bracket.
Indeed, it's usually accepted that free T should be 1.1%-2.5% of TT.
In the case of my labs it's 0.1%-0.3%.

Is that specific to ELISA test?
How can I convert these values to have a proper understanding?

Theyre specific to the test you used and when compared to other tests both your numbers are top of the range

It's specific to the test population who has been taking the test in that particular region, but 2.6ng/dl remains the same for all blood tests you can take, it's an absolute and objective number.
It just means that people who have sent their tests to the lab I used have lower than average test.
