anyone with tattoos?
i'm going to be getting a tattoo on my right shoulder blade next week. just wanted to know if any of you have tattoos and if they streched and look crappy later down the road when you gained weight? i'm gunna be running a summer cycle and looking to put on 20lbs and wanted to know how this would affect the tattoo.

have had tattoos for 20 years. delts, tri's, bi's, pect's, calves, still adding. have gained and lost about 40 lbs up and down, down and up during that time.
tatts still look good, and no strectch marks. but then again, that's just me.

i learned early on when getting tattoos, go big! i have a couple of small tats that i got about 10 yrs ago, before i started lifting, they looked fine back then, but now that ive grown, the canvas that they are on is twice the size so they look a bit lost. the tattos themselves are still in good quality. no stretching or anything, but now they just look too small and i have to add to them to take up the space they once filled. go big!

full back piece
3/4 arm sleeve
celtic arm band
stomach (hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil skulls)
chest (laugh now, cry later skulls)
got my first tat at 205lbs and i've gotten up to 281lbs, no funky looking tats as of yet. i don't think you have anything to worry about.

Could anyone post some pics of the celtic designs, are they pretty much the same style as the tribals?

No they don't look like tribals. Do a ggogle search and you will find tons.

You can see my tats in my avatar. I weighed 125lbs when I got them and my back was much, much smaller (now weigh 165lbs)

i have tats all over and regulary fluctuate 20lb due to walking around weight and competition weight and never have any issues. I think you bleed more at incetion site for some reason though or that could just be me because one shoulder is fully covered and the other one isnt and the tatted shoulder and quad always tend to have issues with bleeding
