Protein intake while on gear vs natural

PROTEIN INTAKE

training naturally im taking 0.8 - 1g / lb maybe 1-1.2g while cutting.... thats a basic set point from where ever i do a search , im sticking to that

What about while on gear ? does those needs stay the same or i have to increase it drastically ?

arnold . dorian all said 1g - 1.3g / lb is what they took their entire career

and most of the forums im looking suggest an humungus 300 - 400 g is needed

whats the real deal ?
