Hmmm..... a PCT question.....

Okay I've been doing research for a while into the pros and cons of starting a cycle pretty much everything I read online says for a beginner a good cycle to start with would be something like a test base and maybe add in deca or d-bol....

More importantly everything I've read says that I should most definitely have some Nolvadex or Clomid on hand after the cycle is over so as not to get any of those ever so embarassing side effects....

BUT..... out here in the "real' world I am pretty good friends with 3 guys who have done cycles at various times and have also done multiple cycles and suprisingly NONE of them have ever done a PCT after their cycle.... and all three swear that they didn't suffer the side affects I've read so much about, to be honest they're all in great shape and not a man boob or bald head can be seen in any of them....

So my question to the greater internet community is: "How great are the chances of suffering side effects if one does not take any PCT drugs??"

I mean don't get me wrong.... I believe in the better safe than sorry route and think that it some sort of PCT should be kept on hand but, truly do all of you always find the need to have PCT??

Oh and in case anyone wants to know the two of the three guys were doing 10 week test cycles and the other guy was doing a 12 week test cycle and was also using deca.....

If you "really" want to find out, run cycles without PCT.

However, I'd not advise it. There are plenty of documented cases all over online forums which definitely prove that it should be considered necessary to have a good PCT protocol.

your 3 friends HPTA are probably shot to **** and they'll be fucked later in life

do PCT and don't even question its necessity

After my first cycle, I did 50mg Clomid ed for a month, and everything went back to normal. Only side effects I got were water retention and some of my red hair was turning black, but it went back to red after the clomid, haha. After my second I did Nolva 25mg ed for a month and that got everything working again. You definitely want to do some kind of PCT if you ever want your balls to work again.

I know a guy who only did one cycle 10weeks with hgh no pct at age 28, two years later he is now on HRT and has type-2 diabetes. You ask me a solid pct is cheap insurance, but thats just my 2cents

Honestly, I highly doubt that it happened from his single 10 week cycle. I know plenty of 30yr olds these days on TRT and diabetes is fairly common. Given only one cycle, I'm going to have to say he was prone to it.

However, there is no doubt a solid PCT is a necessity.

look, guys in the 70s and early 80s didn't know about PCT and they are fine and have children ... is it a good idea not to run PCT? **** NO ... you'll lose your gains and risk royally fucking yourself up

I have no idea if he was prone to it or not. It may not have even been his first cycle we aren't friends like that so he could have lied. either way I'll do pct

Many people like to claim that they keep all the gains made on a cycle. These are the same people who claim to gain 20lbs each time yet for some strange reason they always hover around the same weight. The reality is that people lie and people are different. Some people are fortunate to recover quickly, while others take time. Some people gain very little on cycles while others gain alot.

What does all this mean? It means that one is never certain how one will respond but in order to do things as best as possible, one should do things properly. A proper cycle includes a proper post cycle.

I did 6-8 cycles in the late 80's with no PCT. I have 2 children and a very healthy libido. I would never do it again though!

now that Im old and wise (-:

I always use hcg and an AI throughout cycle and nolva for PCT. I try to finish with short esters as well. The combination of these things eliminates test crash, depression etc... And I retain most gains.
