Ok I hope this isnt seemed too stupid of a question and if there is any other threads out there regarding this I just honestly cant seem to find

Im looking for the terminology of these two factors and also the pros and cons of each etc for in the real world and also that of sports performance etc.

I hear all the time about some 'supps' having a 12:1 ratio or 1:2 ratio etc but what does this in reallity mean?

Case being. Athlete 1 wants to compete in strong man comp, what would be best for him

Athlete 2 wants to be running back

athlete 3 wants to be a sprinter

athlete 4 wants to be a body builder
