    Thanks, repped!

So, if the usual 30 or 60ml use a 5% concentration, how would I go about working out total active for that? Seems to me like 5g would last a long time... anyone have some solid insight into this? Is the 5% based on milligrams or the volume of the liquid?

Article on Vitamin C and hair loss

The summary of it is basically that an analouge of Vitamin C can prevent damage to hair folicles from DHT. It caught my eye for 2 reasons. First, it seems to have an idea of what DHT specifically does to hair folicles, specifically that DHT increases production of "the baldness protein DKK-1" and that that vitamin C phoshpate decreases this protein.

Number 2, and more important to us, the kind of vitamin c mention in the article is the kind that is in N2Shampoo. Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate that is.
    http://www.ergo-log.com/vitchair.html
Vitamin C-Phosphate offers your hair protection from androgens

It's all very well, all those male hormones, but they are also responsible for hair loss. And androgens that your body produces itself are just as much to blame as the synthetic androgens that chemical athletes use.
Korean researchers say that a vitamin C analogue may help prevent androgenic hair loss.

The researchers, who work at the Kyungpook National University, did experiments with papilla cells from the skin of balding people. Papilla cells provide the nutrients that other cells in the hair follicles use to make hairs. Papilla cells play a key role in male baldness. They possess receptors for androgens and hair production stops if too many or too strong androgens attach themselves to the receptors.
The Koreans believe they know how this happens. They think that androgens activate the dickkopf-1 gene. [J Invest Dermatol. 2008 Feb; 128(2): 262-9.] This is the gene that's responsible for making the protein DKK-1. As a result, the papilla cells die and the hair-producing outer root sheath cells stop working. And then the hair falls out.
So could you stop this process by exposing papilla cells to vitamin C-phosphate, or, to use its chemical name, ascorbic acid 2-phosphate? [Structural formula shown above] This is what the Koreans wanted to find out.
The idea didn't just fall out of the sky. The Koreans had already demonstrated in test tubes that ascorbic acid 2-phosphate boosts hair growth. [J Dermatol Sci. 2006 Feb; 41(2): 150-2.] Papilla cells [DP] develop more quickly when given more ascorbic acid 2-phosphate. What's more, the vitamin also causes the production of the growth factor IGF-1 to increase in the cells.

So who knows, maybe ascorbic acid 2-phosphate also inhibits the production of the baldness protein DKK-1, thought the Koreans. And lo and behold. The figure above shows that DHT – the androgenic testosterone metabolite – boosts the production of the protein DKK-1, but that ascorbic acid 2-phosphate prevents this from happening.

The researchers used ascorbic acid 2-phosphate because it's such a stable compound, they write. But in the cells, ascorbic acid 2-phosphate converts into ascorbate or vitamin C. By the way, ascorbic acid 2-phosphate is a common ingredient in cosmetic products.

Of course the research doesn't prove that men can protect their scalp with vitamin C analogues. It's not even clear whether steroids users can prevent their hairline from receding by using ascorbic acid 2-phosphate or ordinary vitamin C.

seeing as the main article written up was 2004, anyone have any input for someone who sees some minor hair loss on cycle, thinning both on and off cycle, and has a family history on both sides of hair loss. I have been taking toco-8 and notice a difference off cycle but it doesn't sem to do much for on cycle. I also will be starting 3% scalic acid shampoo followed by Regenepure DR. So hopefully that will help. Anything else I should consider?

You've got the Ketoconazole (Regenepure) and 3% azalic acid already. Minoxidil would be another to add. There's always finesteride while on cycle.

    Bump.

Where do I buy, and how do I measure raw Minoxidil to = a 15% concentration?

Ok it took me forever but I think I found the answer here:
    http://www.minoxidilmax.com/product_...noxidil-15.php
According to minoxidil max's website the amounit is,
    Minoxidil 15% (9 grams of minoxidil in each bottle; i.e., 150 mg/mL).
    Also some additional resources:
    first'
    10 G of minoxidil 18.99
    http://us.ebid.net/for-sale/grams-mi...=googleshop_us
minoxdil 5% with Azelaic Acid - kinda low rent looking- home made looking label - $25.95
    http://www.ecrater.com/p/7932527/min...growth-balding
An alternate minoxdil 5% with Azelaic acid, and 50 other ingredients (emu oil, nettles, biotin.... look at the description). $32.95

    http://www.amazon.com/Corvinex-Inhib.../dp/B002R1WYV8

Here is the full list of major ingredients in the minoxidil max 15% minox 5% AA blend
    A. Major ingredients:
    Minoxidil 15% (9 grams of minoxidil in each bottle; i.e., 150 mg/mL)
Azelaic acid 5% (3 grams of Azelaic acid in each bottle; i.e., 50 mg/mL)
    Retinol 0.025% (0.25 mg/mL)
    Caffeine 0.001% (0.01 mg/mL)
    Ethanol
    Glycerin

I have 1 more perfect image solutions left, now that they are worth 5 times as much I may just sell it, or hold onto it and sell it 20 years from now so I can retire after the FDA bans everything but vitamin C. I'm considering just going with wholesalehairproducts.

Nice info. The product at WHP is a tad cheaper, so I think at this point it's just a toss up. The Corvinex reviews has two 5 stars and one 2 star review so take it like you will.

Outstanding, do you have any feedback on the WHP minox/AA mixture yet?

Also, for you guys on the finasteride protocol are you taking it in conjunction with any type of AI's like exemestane or the like? Or is that just counter productive? I know mepartricin is getting good feedback for fina protocols as it's a strong suicide inhibitor but has little impact on testosterone levels and the like, unfortunately it's not available in the US.

Does this site actually sell the product or do you have to email them for prices? I couldn't find a (add to cart) option.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that was the old Dr. Lee formula. If that was the case, it got pulled when he got raided.

Sh*t. Hair regrowth fail. Raided for Minoxidil? Pardon my naivete on the back story...

not too bad i guess, although i cant make a real judgement call yet. i have no real reason to doubt its legit/potent, but it sprays, dries, and even slightly smells like hairspray... i have been meaning to email them and ask. what i am going to do however is this... i am going to buy and keep using the sams club version since i know that is real and i am paranoid about the rogaine hair loss after disuse, and also i am going to keep working on finding a raw powder source of minoxidil to make my own product at high concentration in the meantime.

i hate posting on my phone, i cannot punctuate or capitalize, and it drives me mad.

I was mistaken. Dr. Lee got shut down some years ago for selling a similar product called Xandrox 15.
"We're very sorry to inform you that Regrowth LLC has to suspend all operations at this time. In an ongoing audit, the U.S. FDA has deemed our medications to be 'unapproved illegal drugs'. The exorbitant cost of new drug development precludes our pursuing New Drug Applications (NDAs).
Requests for new consultations and orders for medications cannot be processed.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
    Richard Lee, M.D."

The product you referenced was gone with the whole recent fda fiasco that shut down perfect image.

I'm going to request CoA's from him on both compounds and also ask him why on Earth 10g is his maximum amount offered. Hopefully he's domestic. Ugh, why does everything have to be such a freaking struggle?
