Steroid rep ranges
So if the the 8-12ish rep range is for sarcoplamasic hypertrophy and the low rep ranges are for actual muscle fiber hypertrophy and steroids increase protein synthesis it would make sense to conclude that you would get the most benefit training in the lower rep ranges because then the protein gets synthesized more into your muscle fibers vs 8-12 where your adding fluid. Opinions?

Overthinking, wayyyyyyy overthinking.
But to answer the question, no, i would not only do lower rep ranges when on cycle, that is abstaining from a very crucial form of hypertrophy.

But steroids directly contribute to muscle fiber not sarcoplasm correct? I am not training for size I'm training for functional strength for wrestling and keeping weight lowOriginally Posted by Rhadam

First off, what are you running? Second, you are failing to understand how hormones work in conjunction with exercise training.

Ok. Your body is going to respond how you want it to. All havoc is going to do is promote an environment that supports lean tissue gain. You'll get increased protein synthesis which leads to the aquisition of increased muscle mass. But this is determined by your diet. Epistane is strong, but we're not talking about test and tren here where you'll gain muscle and lose fat without doing anything. Your body won't simply put on 10lbs of mass because you take Epistane and use a high rep range. Sure, rep ranges influence different kinds of hypertrophy, but during a 6 week cycle of Epi I doubt you would notice much of a difference between the two. If you're training for strength, continue to do that. The EPI isn't going to screw things up. It's about diet and how hard you work in the gym. The steroid [in question] isn't going to change how the body works all of the sudden.
