Calf centric Cycle. Need advice.

I'm going to run a SD cycle, with the main goal being adding mass to my calves. I have large glutes and quads relative to my body size but my calves are really lagging behind. I've tried many different approaches to training them, dropsets, supersets, straight sets, compound sets, once a week, 2x a week, Eod, ED! lol with very little results relative to the rest of my muscle groups.

Anybody out there have some testimonials to some calf routine that helped them add some good size? I have naturally high calves and skinny ankles. Any help offered is appreciated!

ps. Diet is in check & is working for the rest of my body as far as gaining mass, so I'm thinking it's the training side of things i haven't figured out when it comes to my calves.

I have the same problem high gastrocnemius insertion and a very thin soleus about 6 months ago i began this program and since have added about an inch to each leg (currently measuring 16 1/2). Single leg standing plantar flexion off a step or ledge. Highest reps you can handle for first set then switch to other leg and repeat. Then decrease the reps by 2-4 and switch back to first leg. Immediately complete 2nd set and repeat so on and so forth until you complete 4-6 sets on each leg progressively decreasing reps. No rest only switching back and forth between legs. Complete 4 cycles through and ensure full stretch and full contraction no bouncing slow controlled and once end range is reach at the top add one more push to fully contract (highest ankle position possible). Also tibialis anterior work will help to increase the thickness of your calves as seen from all angles. High rep (25+) for 4-6 sets dorsi flexion can use hammer curl bar over toes if TA apparatus not available works the same.
