Constant Muscle Spasms During IM

The other day my mate was pinning by me, and his leg just started twitching every few seconds over and over, he said no pain, just kept twitching over and over, he inj'd about .5ml and said **** it and restuck glutes with a fresh needle.


Any clue? I know personally when you knicked a nerve you get a sharp quick pain and a spasm, but never multiple spasms?

Never heard of this, no pain and a twitch, maby it was just a spasm.

I get this too in my left shoulder. 1st time weirded me out and pinned in different area, last wed said f it and continued.

yeah he said right quad always has some stupid problem, but i was watching and it was just pulsing every few seconds and he said no pain, just the feeling of the twitch itself......maybe it was NEAR a nerve? and maybe while injecting, the oil was irritating and nerve and giving it a twitch?

It happens to me man.
Mainly when I pin delts.
No pain, just continuos spasms for a few minutes, it kind of tickles a bit too. Haha
