Experiences/Opinions with Test and or Deca

Test e 1-12 weeks at 500mg pin twice a week.

Dbol or whatever- 1-4 weeks for a kickstart.

Nolva 20/20/10/10
Clomid 50/50/25/25
Daa 3g
Ai if needed on cycle.
Supports supps etc...

No need to add more then one compound unless u have a cycle history

I'm not the biggest fan of decca, but some are. General rule is to use it with test cyp or test enan, and run the test 2 weeks longer than the decca. Due to the ester on the decca you also want your time on the decca to be at least 10 weeks. Also "bro science" says to keep the dose of test higher than decca to avoid/prevent "decca dick." Decca being a 19-nor compound basically requires clomid (not nolva) as a SERM for pct.

Test... what can I say other than (for most people) Test is best :D

Use a higher calorie intake first to gain muscle/weight. You are 6'3" and 165 I weighed that much at 16. On top of that what are your stats, age, calorie intake, and max lifts?

Damnit gerbil, raining on my science parade! LoL

Forgive me for my ignorane, but im not up to date with all the abbreviations that you just used in your "science parade" SO most of that went right over my head. :)

ManBeast, you are great at making stacks of gear and pct but I am a bit better at looking at stats and realizing he is 3 inches taller then me but I out weigh him by 45lbs. He needs food, alot of it.

cyp and enan are esters attatched to the testosterone to slow its availability in the blood (requiring less injections). 19-nor is a chemical classification for one of the structures of the decca molecule. SERM stands for Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator. Clomid and nolva are SERMs used in PCT (Post cycle therapy).

Eat more first. Get up to atleast 200lbs before thinking about a cycle the only person I know with close to your stats is a NCAA womens volleyball player. You need to eat more before going on a cycle.

Gerbil does have a point about getting closer to your genetic potential before cycling, the general rule is the longer you wait to do a cycle, the better your gains will be for it and all cycles to come, just due to how your body reacts when forced past its limit.

Exactly, I cant gain weight to save my life.
Im not big into the gym yet, but i have just joined and plan to start a good work out routine and continue it for a while before starting my cycles.
I'm just trying to get all my ducks in a row now and learn as much as I can before I start.

Its also worth noting that I've been working construction since I was 18 (building scaffold) and its basically nothing but manual labor. Lots of lifting and packing and climbing. Im in pretty good shape (in my opinion) Im fit, and trim and cut but im thin.
Im looking to add mass.

As I said earlier, I plan to hit the gym for a while and try to reach a good peak before starting the cycles.

STATS:
Age: 30
Calorie Intake: Couldnt tell you, but I eat like a horse
Max Lift: No Idea, but I can pass 10' long 50lbs board over my head for 12 hrs a day...With a few breaks in between

Thanks for the replies guys

That article should help with how a true ecto/hardgainer (which it sounds like you are to an extent) should be eating to gain.

You need to get a good lifting background before even cycling. Diet of course is number one priority. Go to the gym first and start training! Work on your diet and then come back. We will be glad to help you out.

That's my plan.
I just wanted to make sure I was on the right track.

Believe me guys.
I've struggled with weight all of my life. I've always been very skinny.
I've tried numerous weight gainers and shakes etc. none really helped too much.

But I'm definitely gonna check some links and look through the nutrition section.

Whats your job?

Have u been making sure u get all of your protein, carbs and fats I'n? Being consistent I'n diet will make a big change. You can eat tons of food, drink all the weight gainers all I'n one day and not do it for the next 6 days, u won't gain. Make sure u keep it consistent. Consistency I'n your diet and intensity I'n the gym, boom you will be growing I'n no time. Good luck bro, let us know if u need help along the way.

Whats your job?

Scaffold builder in the industrial field (construction)
It's not the worst job in the world but it's far from the easiest.

Like I said in an earlier post. It's a lot of packing, lifting, climbing, and swinging a hammer all day.
Many times we pull a 12-16 hour shift often 7 days a week for months at a time.

With only a 15 min 9:00am break, then a 30 min 12:00 lunch break, followed by a 15 min 3:00pm break.
So I think I may be wearing my body down too far .

These jobs are called "turnarounds" or "shutdowns"
Basically when a large industry (often called a plant) such a Exxon has a problem they shut down the unit with the problem in it.
There by causing them to loose millions of dollars a day until its back up and running.

In this unit down time, we build our scaffolds so the Exxon people can reach the areas they need to get to.
And we work 7 days a week until the unit is back running and making money again.

The only "light work" we get is in between shut downs we do smaller jobs usually based on 10 hour days.

sounds like you burn a *ton* of calories in a day, which in and of itself will make putting quality mass on that much more difficult (even with steroids/prohormones/supps). So you should try and find ways to make every drink you consume have quality calories from protien and carbs during the day. Or at least some of them.

I'd be lying if I said yes.
I try to eat good and eat good consistently, but sometimes I'm just too hot to eat.
Many times we are working balls to the wall for 4 hours straight and then only get a 15 minute break.
Often wearing full nomex ( plant required)

Nomex is a think long sleeved long pants jump suit that is fire resistant.
Add that to 15 lb saftey harness, and a 10lb tool belt that's strapped to you all day.
It can get pretty exausting.

And honestly, here in south louisiana in mid summer the only thing you want is water :)

Thanks again for all the feed back and replies fellas.

This forum seems to be loaded with the info that I'm looking for, as well as some very helpful members ;)

Exactly what I was thinking.
The only problem I found with the drinks is that they all seem to be pretty thick or milky.
And when yor working your butt of all day and try to down something thick and milky, it usually tends to come right back up.

Any suggestions on a quality drink I could pick up that would sit light on the stomach ?

Start your day with a calorie dense breakfast, 9am break Eat some GORP (carbs protien and fat) Lunch Chicken breast white rice and some veggies with gravy(more calories also delicious) 3pm Gorp and some fruit. You can add bananas and protein shakes to up the calories. Basically if you arent working munching on food is your job. Big dinner at the end of the day and lift heavy if you have time in your day, if you dont then you looking into gear is sad. This is what I ate while working at a lumber mill piling lumber.

Some protien powders mix well with water and do not thicken it substantially. I use Invalid Link Removed (one scoop in 6-8oz water) and it is not overly thick or rough on my stomach.

No man, I got my mind made up. I'm going for broke here. I'm all in.
I've been skinny all my life. People always told me " you'll fill out when you get older"
Or "once you get a few years on you your metabolism will slow down"

Well, low and behold. Here I am, 30 yrs old this year, and I only weigh 10lbs more than the day I graduated high school.
I'll do what it takes. I just needed some pointers and some nice people to point me in the right direction.
I'm gonna get my diet right, add in some drinks, and start hitting the gym.
After a while of that when I feel that I've reached a plateau. Then I'll add in the supplements.

Good man, if you have a solid attitude and try and get some food down during your breaks and up the calories you should do great. Keep us posted and when you feel you have hit a plateau hit us up and we can help you.

Gerbil: this isn't the kid hell-bent on a cycle *right now* dude is just starting research really early, something tells me you are still pissed at the weather brohan. :D

vise: we're here to help in any way, shape, and form (that doesn't violate board rules) LoL. Sounds like you have a good attitude about all this so far, keep it up and we'll help you reach your goals :)

Thanks!
Gonna have to get the wife to look into it for me .

That's the only one I've really tried in water. I'm sure if you ask in the nutrition or suppliment section you could get better answers.

ManBeast

Avoid optimum pro gainer in water. Optimum gold standard isnt bad (not horrifically calorie dense though)

Yeah, I'm no where's near ready for my cycle. I was just starting my research. I like to know all the ins and outs of anything I start before I start it. I was just looking to be pointed in the right direction, and make sure I was starting out correctly. And it looks like I came to the right place. :)

So I started on some weight gainer drinks this morning, I can't recall the name right now, but it was something my brother had and he said it helped him. I figured anything was better than nothing. Also I had a pretty good breakfast this morning. And I loaded up my lunch box with some food and drinks. Not sure if it's all correct, but it's gotta be better than straight water all day, mainly some juices and fruits, along with my lunch and some snacks.

And so my journey begins.

Thanks again guys

Awesome man, now we have to figure out a short-but-sweet weight program for you to avoid even more massive caloric expenditure while stimulating those fibers to grow.

Sounds good. I'm game for anything.
I'm guessing I need heavy weights at low reps?

Again, this is where you guys come in at. I only have general guesses at what I should be doing. Where as you fellas know the tried and true methods.

Low reps are more strength oriented, whereas higher reps are for growth (for most of the world). The big compound lifts (deads, squats, bench) are also key to putting on mass. I'll toss some ideas arond in this crazy head of mine today and see what I can come up with. Another key is a good amount of sleep each day so that your body isn't running on stress hormones.

Awesome. Looking forward to what you come up with.

I read a lil bit about the sleep thing while researching last night.
I made sure I put in a solid 8 hrs last night.

Thanks again.

How many days a week can you get to the gym without the wife throwing a frying pan at your head? :D

You been peeping in my windows ? :) :)

I can probably hit the gym about 3 or 4 days a week without her throwing solid metal objects towards my cranium
But I got pretty good reflexes , and I'm quick with the dodge . So if more is needed, I'm sure i could work something in.

Nah, I just remembered you mentioned running the protien powder by the wife, so I kinda figured you'd have to get her blessing :D

Yep, i learned a long time ago that happy wife = happy life.

But shes more than understanding. And shes given me the full go ahead.

Awesome man, I'm kicking around some 3-4 day splits with relatively high reps for ya. There are also some good programs somewhere in the training forum on a thread "lots of programs" or somethin like that.

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

I'll give those threads a look as well.
