Androgens helping Hairloss???

Yes. This sounds like a dumb question, but an interesting one.

I know about causes of hairloss, hairloss products, etc. I also know that
androgens are the most important factor in regulating hair growth and thickness.
If DHT can be controlled topically ( Spironolactone) wouldn't certain low to moderate
aromitizing androgens help in the repair and growth of hair that has not been totally lost.
When reading steriod side effects you always read hairloss but I have to question this.
Keep in mind I'm thinking that spironolactone would destroy the higher level of DHT
at the scalp receptors. Maybe this is only good on paper???

Any thought?
