Alpha vs Beat (MMV3 vs Stanodrol)

MMV3 is 3-alpha-hydroxyetioallocholan-17-one

My question is how much of a difference are these two? What does the alpha or beta mean and does it make a difference?

Would MMV3 be a good replacement for stanodrol?
