Sounds like degenerative disc, I have those wonderful genetics myself, Ryan. Sorry to hear that man. The toughest part for me is turning down the intensity, I've always been a "all or nothing" kind of guy and the last 2 years I have learned that, unless I just want to subscribe to the nothing part, I must slow down a bit and accept that my body is not the same as it was 10 years ago. I still do pulls, only front squats, absolutely zero back squats, and always wear a belt and I don't care if I'm just doing curls.Originally Posted by ryansm
I've found that heavier compound movements are best preformed after pre-exhausting the muscles, it's obviously not the same as pulling 5 bills off the floor, but to me the movement is also important, not just the weight. I just had a cortisone shot last Friday, I wish they worked better, but I'm doing everything I can to stay off the operating table. As long as my legs stay big, I won't freak out too much.

water retention: Medium/ not sure how much
I have somewhat a little better of well being actually..hmm. Things seem like there increasing. I'm hoping i get more strength from this and more increased size and increased fullness and pumps! Ill be updating more soon.
