I'm gonna be running a 6 week cycle of P-Mag soon, my 1st. Is jaundice something I even need to be worried about really?
I believe jaundice occurs sure to liver issues.
Load up on liver support and pre load for 2 weeks

Not unless youre out boozin every night too!!
But milk thistle or better yet cycle support on cycle will definately help.
Dunno much about P-Mag, but I did 2 bridges of superdrol to pplex and liver values were A-OK using both supps mentioned above
I give a f**K!!
Ive never read of anybody getting jaundice from a normal Pmag cycle, so I wouldnt be too concerned. Id run the cycle support and milk thistle through cycle and PCT as well, but theres no need to preload with Pmag. If youve had jaundice in the past or are worried, you could add in extra doses of Saw palmetto (Drug Mart, CVS and Walgreens almost always run it "Buy One Get One Free". Drinking a minimum of 1.5 gallons of water a day will also help to keep the liver clean and strong.
Some of the first signs of liver issues will be a yellowing of the toe nails..this occurs before traditional jaundice sets in. But be weary, as many folks wear flip flops this time of year and almost any bacteria out there can get into your nails and cause them to yellow. So while yellowing nails may not be a sign of liver issues during summer because of all the latent bacteria open toed shoes leave you exposed to, you may want to back off the PHs is you get yellowing just to be sure.
Doc told me the best way to tell is if the whites of ur eyes turn yellow, or have a yellow tint, you need to be worried.
The first sign is lack of appetite and itchy skin. I know because I've been through it. I don't think Milk thistle or support supplements will stop you from developing liver problems. If you're susceptible than you are. I got this information from a doctor that specialized in the liver and was on a liver transplant team at the Lahey clinic in Burlington Mass. No amount of support supps is going to stop Cholestasis or liver problems from happening. I never had yellow fingernails. Once the whites of your eyes turn yellow its pretty much too late to really do anything about it. Everything is pretty much set in by then.
I work in a care center and post acute rehab facility. We are equipped to deal with Renal and Kidney disease issues in both adult and elderly individuals. One of the first things we look for is yellowing nails, as a loss of appetite occurs naturally with almost any injury. There are tons of folks who find it difficult consuming food on PHs, so a loss of appetite may not be immediately noticed in some as anything other than a typical PH side. Yellowed nails do not mean it "too late", and are often one of the most discernible signs in many people who have other reasons to suffer loss of appetite. Hell, I lose my appetite big time when I take m1. Sadly, not all liver patients show yellowed nails, and these folks are the ones who suffer in silence until the disease progresses.
However, as stated by T-Bone, if your eyes go yellow, you're in trouble fast. Most with yellow eyes don't make it too long in my experiences.
The liver is amazing, and can sustain damage to nearly 85-90% of its total mass and still regenerate and regain function. That said, Ive seen patients with total yellowed nails undergo treatment and return to full functionality. Ive also seen people with yellowing deteriorate rapidly fast, passing away a week or so after discovery.
In any event, to the OP, Pmag isnt going to cause jaundice unless you run it like a madman for a crazy long time. This is not the case with most Phs though, so be careful.
Cowboy, I got loss of appetite first. It progressed from me eating around 3000 calories a day and within 2 weeks I was down to only about 200 calories a day and the smell of food made me gag especially protein. After that I got really itchy, a constant itch from head to toes, started in the feet though. It was until several weeks later that I noticed my eyes were yellow and I was admitted to the hospital. My Total Bilirubin was over 60 with a reference range of 0.1-1.4. My good cholesterol was "too low for a reading". Plus I was told my kidneys weren't working right. The rest of my body eventually turned yellow also and started to stink.
I took all kinds of pre-cautions with support supps for liver, blood pressure, cholesterol. All "pre-loaded" for a month before starting. This was from Superdrol by the way, back in '05. Something I will never forget or wish on my worst enemy.
Dude, Superdrol is pretty much the worse thing you can do to your liver. I feel for ya, and Ive never touched it for that reason alone. Sooo many people have liver horror issues with SD. Its almost as if its effects on the liver give it a category all to itself...
When comparing Pmag (or any PH really) and SD in terms of toxicity and liver effects, they are miles and miles apart. Not even comparable IMO as SD is so toxic.
I would worry more about the blair witch getting you in your sleep.
I just upped my dose of p-mag from 50mg to 75mg.
I'm on day 11 or so about 18-19 more days to go.
I'm checking the mirror every hour looking at my eyes to see if they will turn yellow.
My first ph and reading certain things make me nervous.
Think I'm drop back to 50mg for 4 weeks.
My appetite took a dip by the way too :/
Eh, nothing to worry about as long as you are healthy and not drinking ANY alcohol.
I haven't had 1 drink. I had 1 sip of a beer that was it. Still guess just being my first and worried I got a but nervous. I'm still nervous I'm still reading and still checking hoping I don't fuk myself up.Originally Posted by jbryand101b
You'll know it when it happens. Friend I worked out with was using m1t at ridiculous dosages and for way too long, and came out with a 20k dollar hospital bill. Acute liver failure.... Yellow eyes, throwing up, itchy all over, brown piss, etc. He recovered fine, and even went on to run big dose injectables and even fairly high dose dbol at times with no issues.
