Of hiting the sciatic nerve when u pin in the glute,thinking about delts and thigh shots because of that nerve!!!

I've hit it a couple times. Not a great feeling. I was using a 1 1/2 inch needle both times. From then on its been 1" with no problems at all.

Never hit one either.. bleed a couple of times but no nerve

The sciatic nerve is closer in towards the crack, so unless you try to poke your anus, you'll have no problem..

If you inject in the proper region of the glute, you will NOT hit the sciatic nerve.

Think of an imaginery line drawn vertically in the center of your butt cheek, and another drawn horizontally in the center. This divides your cheek into 4 quadrants. Keep your injections in the upper outer quadrant and you won't need to worry about hitting the sciatic nerve.
