Thought it would be fun to see what you guys like to really psyche you up at the gym. My 'License To Ill' CD is getting pretty old.:djparty:

I checked out Five Finger Death Punch and Disturbed on You-tube. I like them both. They both have covers of some of my favorite childhood bands. Plus they remind me of the music they used to play at a gym in Pittsfield Mass. I lifted there whenever I went to see the in-laws.

I like to mix it in with my other music to break things up. Im usually in the gym for at least 1 1/2 hrs so i cant stay super amped the entire time.

Kanye's new album is awesome. Eminem: Recovery. Drake: so far gone. Jay-z : empire sate of mind(the first track is great for warming up)

Honestly, not myself, but GF loves Eminem.

We were suppoosed to go to one of the Yankee Stadium shows of his back in Sept, but something came up and we just couldn't :O( Sucked big time! Woulda kicked ass!

I'm not a fan really, but I still woulda liked to go just for the event, and to see her see her fav performer. She's put up with a lot of my loud metal shows! Lolz. Plus, I've heard his new one many times, and, it's not bad, some good beats on it, some cool atmospheres in some of the songs.

I love trance. Voila by radio killer is one of my favs as well as stereo love by edward maya.

I'd link them but my account is too new and it won't let. Listen to these songs on youtube and you'll feel like you are in a pure ecstacy. Thank me later.

Rap is good if it's got a good rythm to keep me in an upbeat mood. But most of the time especially on those lifts I really need help on there's only one awnser

system of a down - B.Y.O.B. Best song to lift to ever made

I love the heavy metal and rock in the gym, but that being said if your looking for a little change besides your normal playlist, maybe something a little new and different check this type of stuff out

[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtovqcYKW2Y&feature=related"]YouTube - Electro House 2010 (CLUB MIX) DJ BL3ND[/nomedia]

personally that will get my pumped up and fired up all those beats per minute do work in the brain imo... :)
