How To Make a Good-Tasting Oral Solution?

Say somebody has got some powders and wants to make a good-tasting oral solution? Say, something that tastes as good as Lion Nutrition Cinnamon Clen, I hear that tastes real good. What would you do?
 
Buy some flavor concentrate from lemelange.com, it's basically the same stuff that Lion uses. I just use it unflavored & squirt into some oj.
 
I think that is teh best way, you may have some problems with using straight peg and flavors, just like I did with the first batches of MD. They seemed to seperate.

Lion uses a mix of solvents, which may help him with flavoring. But just chasing it with something that tastes better is the easiest way I have found.
 
Easiest way I've found with anything that tastes that bad is simply to cap it. Takes all but ten seconds ...

I'm doing that with some liquid 5aa until it runs out and by then my tabs will have arrived. (By the way, is 5aa a back-ordered item from DS ?? )

By the time that's gone so will be all the PH's :( and we'll all have been 'pushed' onto the real gear ... by the assholes that wanted to steer you away them in the first place :rolleyes:
 
It's tough to encapsulate 5mg. The best way to make good tasting solutions starting from foul tasting chemicals is to use cyclodextrins. This is one of their pharmaceutical uses. If you have a gram of powder, mix it (thoroughly) into 9 grams of cyclodextrin powder, then leave it in a humid place for a few days, and you'll have a paste. Scrape that into your liquid (water may even work at this point, since the steroid's insolubility has ceased to be an issue) and add flavor, or don't. Right now 1fast400 has HPBCD back in stock, and it would work out to $1 per gram of powder you wanted to flavor. So if you bought a gram of MD from DesignerSupps, mixing it with cyclodextrins would add 2% to the cost, and it would also likely be cheaper than having to use PEG400. - How do I know? I experimented, for Sledge, with using HPBCD delivery for the methylated substances, but I found that they have to go through the liver to be broken into their metabolites, otherwise they just run right through you without good or bad effect. But while I was experimenting, I found just how much better cyclodextrin encasing makes things taste. As long as you just drink the resulting solution, everything will end up where it is supposed to, but it will taste great.
 
Thanx for the info, but I have one question. You say you tried to do this with methylated powders, but that they have to go thru the liver. Why would using cyclodextrin powder interfere with that?

It doesn't interfere if you swallow it, but cyclodextrins are designed to deliver drugs across mucous membranes. So when I was using an intranasal solution, I could have taken 100mg of MD per day and nothing would have happened, because it did not get activated by my liver. When I was using it sublingually, it would have done the same thing, except that I made the (experimental) mistake of swallowing the leftovers (whatever didn't cross the membrane), so that at first gave me a false sense that it was working. If you swallow a cyclodextrin complex, it will get broken down in your stomach and the drug will work just as if you'd taken it orally. If you use a cyclodextrin complex intranasally, then it will not work if it needs to be metabolized by the liver before it works.

So you're suggesting a 9:1 ratio of cyclodextrins to hormone... Does this pose limitations on the solution's concentration?? In your experience, what concentrations were you able to achieve??

I was thinking that this with may work well for Cialis/Viagra powder.

Yes, but if you swallow it, it is a good tasting in an oral solution, and it is highly soluable. As to precise numbers of its solubility, I don't have them on hand. I didn't sit around trying to achieve maximal concentrations, but the soluability is multiplied many times over, especially for hard to dissolve powders like M4OHN. It is not worth the trouble with M5AA which was so cheap (when it was available). I would imagine it would work fine with Viagra powder, but then again, I have zero idea what the dosage is for that stuff, as I don't have any need for it. With methylated steroids it works out well even for just countering the foul taste because one gram goes a long way, and nine grams of HPBCD works out to $1.

Besides, if you have access to what's on display in your avatar, you should have no need for viagra ;)
 
My avatar is a pic that i took of my girl a few months back. And she's precisely why i need it... she's insatiable (nice problem, huh). I just started a cycle where i'm running alot of test so when it kicks in i won't need the cialis/viagra. lol

I was just interested in mixing up some liquid Cialis/Viagra where the taste is tolerable... maybe even flavored like Lion's.
 
So do you think that you can mix this good enough to have proper dosages each time? How do you measure the paste since now it's weight will be dependent on how much moisture was absorbed?

You don't weigh the paste, you measure the amount of steroid powder you put in beforehand. ... Then divide whatever your final liquid volume is and you'll get a mg/ml concentration to work from.
