methyl 1-d on cycle vs. hcg

I have never heard of this product until a few minutes ago until i stubled upon it on am. on my next cycle of test e, i was gonna take hcg to keep natural test up. Would methyl 1-d be just as good for this? i read its a mild test prohormone and works very similar to hcg. i was thinking of running test e at 500mg possibly late this year, but haven't sat down to figure up my cycle yet.
