Does Liquid take longer to hit than Pills?

I have my Liquid Clomid now so I can cycle off of my letrozole in a few weeks.
But I was wondering if Liquid form takes longer to "kick in" with the body as opposed to pills or tablets.

For example; when I take a Cialis tablet, I feel it kick in within 25 minutes... as opposed to when I take the liquid form, it seems like it doesn't kick in for several hours.

Is this normal?

The liquid clomid and nolva should take the same amount of time, if not quicker to hit you than a pill..
