I thought other people with tendon issues could benefit from this, so I've decided to share my experience with you all: I just finished a 6wk cycle of 1,4AD at 800mg/day. When I started the cycle, tendons all over my body were going nuts. Both arms, top and bottom, and one of my ankles were super irritated. Turning a screwdriver was agony, walking was excruciating. My tendons have been like this most of this year and physical therapy didn't help. I read that bold can increase tendon healing 400%, so I decided to try it. I did reverse wrist curls a few times a day, starting at 2lbs and ending up at 9lbs. I used a light gripper, 150lbs, two sets every other day. After 6 weeks, the pain in my ankle and one arm is completely gone, the worst tendon still hurts a little when I do heavy stuff but at least I can lift within reason now. Also, even though I was severely limiting the amount of weight I handled so as not to cause more damage, I gained back most of the muscle I lost in the time I couldn't work out. I was 153 on day 1 and I'm 170 as of today, about 12-14% bf in both cases. Now I was eating low carb prior to starting, so about 8 of that is not real muscle gains, but that's pretty good for not working out very hard and getting sick twice on cycle. I was about 175 14-16% before I stopped working out because of the tendons, so I'm close. Side effects: Runny nose for the first week, occasionally sensitive nipples this last week. Occasional insomnia, mostly the first 2 weeks. Greasier skin, I just took hotter showers with antibacterial soap and it was fine. I did not in any way have any hair loss, testicular atrophy, anger issues, or anything serious. I was SUPER concerned about blood pressure because mine is already high, but I used Cycle Support and continued taking my BP meds and it was fine. I even started drinking my morning coffee again after a couple weeks of it being fine. The only real problem I had was I let a couple friends know I was using PHs and they freaked out about the dangers of steroids, so I learned to STFU around people who don't know pretty quick. | |||
