How many of you use a pre-workout stim when on PH's?

I use White Flood pre-workout right now and am thinking of using it on my M-drol cycle.

What worries me a bit is blood pressure. I have used superdrol twice before and on the first go round I got a bad BP (I think) headache a couple of weeks in. No such problems on the second cycle.

Am I playing with fire here or what? If The White Flood will raise my BP too much, what would you guys recommend for a little kick in the ass at the gym?

BTW I plan to begin taking hawthorn berry for at least 2 weeks pre-cycle and will begin taking cycle support 1 week pre-cycle.
 
like pugonater said everyone is different but i tend to use stims on or off cycle i think if your bp support supps are spot on and you dont have a history of high bp you should be fine but start with a low dose and feel it out.
 
i'm doing Jack3d in PCT... I think running them during PCT is a much better idea. On superdrol you don't need any more pump or anything.
 
I agree w/ superdrol alone being enough for a pump, but I need something for energy. I'll play around w/ it when the time comes. Maybe something like 1/2 dose of WF & 1 or 1/2 of a caffeine tab.

My BP is fine off cycle and I measure it daily when I'm on and its never been high enough to really alarm me so I think I should be ok if I take it slow & easy w/ the stims.
 
i think the only place for NO's and such would be off cycle and pct. i dont see a place for them while on cycle.
 
i think while on cycle you should not need a pre work out boost. for me anyways, even if im tired once i start hitting the weights my body kicks in to over drive and want to pound on the weights more and more.
 
I agree with TheDiesel on this one. Pre-workouts are a mental boost more than anything. I was borderline addicted to super-pump 250 all of last year used it during one cycle and for a long period of off time. I'm currently on cycle and still sometimes wish I had the money to buy a nice pre-workout, but once I get to the gym and get that first set done, I'm not the least bit sluggish anymore...completely focused on performing X amount of reps on the next set and such and my energy picks up tremendously (moreso than the normal endorphin rush you get while lifting). I agree with most of the people who say save it for PCT...once you get past that mental barrier of dragging your lazy ass to the gym and getting to work, you'll understand what I'm talking about, esp on superdrol. It can make you feel like complete **** until you get some type of workout in (in my experience).

About a week into a cycle I don't usually feel real fired up prior to my workout. After (or sometimes even during) my first set though - something kicks in and you better start handing me 45's or get the **** out of my way!
 
Preworkouts generally raise your BP due to the caffeine content - and being on cycle your BP is probably already up anyways. I don't think it's a good idea unless you are stim tolerant and are experienced with PH use. Limit your PreWO and caffeine use to PCT.
 
Point taken everyone. Also just to be clear, I agree that I don't NEED it while I'm on as I have never used one while I was on before (be it SD or any other PH). I just figured I'd see if maybe I was being too cautious.

For some reason my Epi pulse has really taken it out of me. Maybe it was some other things I had going on but I was just drained and couldn't force myself to workout.
 
i add 2 tsp of instant coffee to my chocolate shake b4 my workouts, or sometimes a caffene anhydrous tab. I get lethargic on cycle so it helps me keep going. Have gotten headaches a few times while on cycle, but surprise to me, my bp was fine even while my head was pounding.
 
hmm I totally concur that there is no reason for NO products on cycle. but some instant coffee for a wake me up in the protein shake before i lift. thats good idea texastweeter
 
i'm gonna go against the grain on this one and say white flood would be okay- IF you have no history of high blood pressure, AND if you begin gradually- 1/2 reccomended serving and see how you react. i use white flood and really like it because of the nice even energy levels through out my workout, not to mention the great pumps. it's not the typical all at once energy rush like some pre workout concoctions. just ease into it, be aware of how you feel.. sip your BCAA's intra workout, a good post workout shake, and i think the results will be fantastic. if you try at half a serving and it just doesn't "feel" right, discontinue and wait till' off cycle.
