B-12 Injections

I know this probably belongs in the supplement section, but I thought I would get a better response here. If it bothers admin, feel free to move.

Do I need to aspirate if I am doing a "b complex plus" injection? People inject b-12 intravenously, so if I hit a vein while attempting an IM injection.......it shouldn't really matter, right?

It's just good practice to aspirate; it takes just a split second. You can inject it into the bloodstream with no issue though since it's water based. It's the oil suspensions you want to avoid hitting a vessel with.

Forced to bump. I have a follow-up question.

I ordered Agrilabs B Complex Plus, which contains:
Thiamine Hydrochloride (B1)
12.5 mg
Niacinamide
12.5 mg
Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (B6)
5.0 mg
d-Panthenol
5.0 mg
Riboflavin (B2) (as Riboflavin 5' phosphate sodium)
2.0 mg
Cyanocobalamin (B12)
1000 mcg

I received VEDCO Super B Complex, which contains:
Thiamine Hydrochloride
100 mg
Riboflavin 5 (Sodium Phosphate USP)
5 mg
Pyridoxine Hydrochloride
10 mg
Niacinamide
100 mg
d-Panthenol
10 mg
Cyanocobalamin
100 mcg
Benzyl Alcohol (as preservative)
1.5% v/v
Water for Injection
q.s.
Stabilized in citric acid buffer

As you can see, the formulas vary greatly. The biggest concern for me is that what I ordered has 10x more b12 than what I received . Thoughts on the forumla?
