Cutting on Cycle/During PCT/Off Cycle

It seems to be the largest view that cutting during PCT is a bad idea. During PCT your test levels are low and tring to get restabilized. Your body is also on the verge of catabalism. Taxing your system even more by trying to cut isn't ideal.
That leaves off cycle or on. I personally bulk, recover by PCT, then cut on cycle and recover again. It's a year round pattern. Bulking takes the most part for me.

If you are going to, or need to cut, why cut anytime but on cycle? OFF CYCLE CUTTING= slow fat loss, some muscle loss, definitely strength loss. ON CYCLE CUTTING= faster fat loss, no muscle loss and probably muscle gain, and still gain strength. To me it's a no brainer. And please NEVER cut during PCT.

Cut on cycle is best. Cut off cycle is next. NEVER EVER cut during PCT, even if you were cutting while on, you need to be near maintenance calories (no less than 85% if you are going to keep lifting). Cardio should be reduced for a week or two IMHO as well (you just shut yourself down to keep it, why lose all that muscle now?).

Why not do a 6 week bulking cycle, then 4 weeks PCT, again bulking. Then another 4-6weeks bulking off cycle.
Then, do another 6 week cycle, 2 weeks dedicated to a FMAIF type diet. Dropping ~10lbs of fat in 2 weeks. And finish the rest of the 4 week cycle off with a bulk.

Do not cut during PCT unless you want to lose the muscle you just worked for.

What is the best way to plan a cut cycle? I'm concerned about coming off and putting on fat and losing the muscle that I just cycled to save.

Not that it needs to be said again, but never cut during pct...dumb as can be. If you're test was really surpressed, just training itself while above maintanance cals during pct should be hard enough. During or off is the way to go.

1 your at competition level
2 you fat
that cutting is a bad idea in general. Why use a ph to cut if you 6 foot and 170 lbs for example. I like to bulk when on cycles and cut when off. Or, I just bulk year round. I here about all these kids that wanna bulk and not gain any fat, which is ridiculus.

If you're packing on a ton of mass, and not gaining any fat at all, it's not bulking. It's one of these: Godlike genetics, never having lifted weights before, or large doses of andorgens.

Agreed, but if your diet is right, you can still bulk while minimizing fat gains. That is how I personally run my PH cycles. I live in santa barbara, CA, so there is no winter season for all out bulk. I have to keep my definition, especially being a surfer.Why use a ph to cut if you 6 foot and 170 lbs for example. Right now I am 6 foot, 175 with very low bf. I have ranged from 165-200 pounds. I am on a bulk cycle right now, but I am minimizing fat gains.

cutting during PCT is stupid. you will lose all or most of the muscle you worked so hard for. I personally treat this as a maintainence period, where I typically don't gain or lose weight.
